Didn’t know what to expect walking in. Apparently there are two sides to this restaurant as we walked in on the bar side and thought that’s all there was. Until we were ready to leave and realized there were two sides. So please note that. Walking in I was worried it wouldn’t be to my parents liking. But I was wrong the service ended up being great. Our waitstaff was awesome. A little salty but awesome! The food was great and my parents raved about it and even said they wanted to go back. I had a caeser salad with salmon and it was good! My mom had the salmon dinner and she said it was cooked just right. My dad had a steak and said the meat was tender. Two thumbs up and highly recommend!!

Had Salmon and chips. Salmon was very mild, was not overpowering. Highly recommended. Husband had Monte Cristo. His cousin is a chef and said from the picture she could see it was made the correct way .

So this place is as good as it gets on many levels...
Walked in not knowing what to expect and OMG the food was amazing. Ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna to start & the Coconut Curry Halibut for my entree. Now, I like to think that I am a decent seafood cook in my own kitchen but I will NOT attempt to replicate what the Sea Hag serves because first off I would be embarrassed just knowing how it's supposed to be done even if I did put forth a good fish entree. Secondly, it would simply be disrespectful for my to think I could do what the kitchen chef here does with seafood...
Beyond the food, the servers/bar staff were excellent. Friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable about food & beverages so pretty much exactly what you want from the staff no matter whether you sit down at a table or at the bar counter. Loved the atmosphere in this place as well. It was Saturday night and I walked in around 7:30pm to a live music duo and the place was very casual and everyone that I observed appeared to be enjoying themselves...
I had a glass of Oregon pinot noir to finish off my evening at the Sea Hag. This place gets my highest rating I have ever given to a restaurant/cafe in the USA 🇺🇸

Pretty sure the oysters gave us food poisoning! Mushy, greasy, and no flavor. Pancake was dense and not even soft or fluffy. Somehow the hash browns were pretty good. The place wasn't even busy and it took forever to get seated not to mention get out order taken.

Had a pleasant time with my Valentine's date. Food was so Yummy had the Seaford pasta very filling he had the smoked salmon pasta the salmon was yummy I got a nibble of it. Good memories I worked at the Hag from '91 -'96. Thanks for a lovely evening 😊

I didn't expect to spend 2 hours here. We beat the lunch rush to be sat, but it took about 30 minutes to be acknowledged and have our order taken. Another 45 for our food to come out. I was only able to snag a picture of my plate because the rest of my party dug in immediately. $22 for fish and chips (salmon), and this was the portion size? I honestly left exhausted and still hungry.

It seems like a staffing issue, as others have mentioned. Given that it was a Saturday during King Tides, it was pretty chaotic. However, I can't say I'd recommend this place. Take away the crappy experience, and there's just mediocre food. We'll try somewhere different the next time we're in the area.

I've been on a chowder kick lately. I'm not a huge seafood fan, so it's a step out for me to try clam chowder.
The Sea Hag has slightly thicker than what I'd call soup style chowder. It's not thick enough to spackle a wall with, but it's not totally soup either.
Flavor wise, it was awesome!!! Clams were cooked good, potatoes were soft, and the overall flavor was delicious!!

It's a clean restaurant, with some excellent pictures on the wall. Service was good and prompt.

Great spot for a chowder stop for sure!

Gracie's has two sides. One side is traditional tables and booths restaurant. The other side is the bar and all the small town character and characters you want to see so you know locals like it. It was mid week lunch and busy. The waitress said they have music Fri+Sat 6-8pm. We split a great bowl of chowder and fresh cod fish and chips. Local red ale from the brewery a few doors down. Chowder, fried fish, and beer were great. Would have liked a seasoned chip but that's just me. Servers were friendly and I'd for sure go back.
