This is the second time my family has enjoyed a getaway at Hyatt Regency Indian Wells, and it was just as wonderful as the first! The resort is incredibly family-friendly, with multiple pools, fun water slides, and a lazy river that our kids absolutely loved. The location is also fantastic, with plenty to do nearby—The Living Desert Zoo is just 10 minutes away, and Joshua Tree National Park and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway are within easy reach for more outdoor adventures.

A special thank you to Mr. Cameron for his kindness and exceptional hospitality! He was polite, patient, and went above and beyond to make our stay extra special by upgrading us to a preferred room and surprising our little one with a birthday cake. These thoughtful gestures made us feel truly welcomed and appreciated.

We can’t wait to return again for another amazing stay! Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing and fun getaway.

What a spectacular stay! This was an amazing resort - with brilliant staff and service. Jenny set the tone immediately, as she checked us in and provided such a wonderful start to the trip. But everyone we encountered went out of their way to be friendly, and ensure we had a fabulous stay. The grounds, room, and pool areas were all so wonderful! Clean, comfortable, and exactly what we wanted from a relaxing celebratory vacation week. We usually go the route of rental homes when in this area, but we are so glad we tried something new this time. Will absolutely be back! Thanks Jenny, and everyone at the resort who helped make it such a fantastic time. Don't hesitate to book this gem of resort!

This was our first time to this resort and it was really nice. We had a 2-bedroom Villa, and traveled with my wife and 2 young adult sons. Once you are all checked in, you can either walk to the Villas, or they will hook you up with a bell person to take you there on a golf cart. It's a little bit of a walk from the front desk. (Not that it matters that much, but the front desk employee who checked us in made no mention of our Explorist status).||The Villa had 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms. The first bedroom had a King bed and the other had 2 queens. Both bathrooms were essentially the same. Continuing on, there is a small kitchen with dining area, living room with couch, chairs and huge smart TV. But, the best feature was the backyard that had separate seating areas, gas fireplace to make smores, gas bbq grill to cook steaks, burgers, etc, and a hot tub. ||There is also a heated waterpark area that is great for kids and adults, with 3 waterslides, 2 for older kids and adults, and one for the smaller tykes. There are 2 or 3 pools as well, and one just for adults 18+. |We didn't do much of anything else at the resort, as the restaurants didn't really strike our fancy, so we bbq'd one night, and ate out all the other meals, except lunches which we got at the pool. ||Overall, it was a really nice break right before Christmas

This is a great resort for a family getaway - for all ages. If you are a Hyatt Globalist, this is a great place to use your suite upgrade awards. The location is beautiful. There is a waterpark-like area for kids with waterslides and a lazy river, and a kid/young child pool area with water sprayers. Adults have an 18+ over area to escape the large crowds. The spa is very relaxing right next to the gym area. This is overall an amazing place to go for a few days with the family.

We loved our stay at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort. Here's why:

Arrival: I wasn't quite sure what to do when we drove up to the lobby entrance, so I asked the valet. The gentleman I spoke to was super helpful and patient.

Check-in: we checked in around 6pm and it was quick and easy. The gentleman that helped me was great at explaining everything. We also appreciated Nicki for the truly amazing service when my wife checked into another reservation the following day. They made our son feel extra special.

The room: we were grateful for a complementary upgrade and loved how spacious it was. It will be a memory we will never forget.

The resort: it's easy to get lost within the pool area, but that's a good thing because that's exactly what you want when you're having fun at this place. We didn't get a chance to use the spa area or golf, but hope to be back someday. The gym was well equipped. I am a fan of the Hyatt and peloton partnership to earn a little more points by exercising for a short time. There are lots of activities for kids and adults; too many to list. The grounds are well kept and very safe.

Breakfast: we enjoyed our free breakfast for being Globalists. On the weekends there's a breakfast buffet that is very good with a huge variety that includes made to order omelets. During the weekdays there's a menu to order from, which is basically the same food from the weekend breakfast buffet but in a different format. I preferred the weekend breakfast buffet because the weekday menu wasn't very substantial. I also enjoyed the weekend breakfast crew the most too. Our favorite server was Cassandra because she always had a pleasant smile and great attitude; a wonderful example of a well run restaurant.

Communication with the hotel: I really enjoyed being about to text the number on the card key to ask for information. They were extremely responsive and professional.

Check-out: quick and easy without any hassle.

Wonderful hotel! We stayed here while attending the BMW M School at Thermal. The vibe was great, the service spectacular, the food plentiful and tasty, the room beautiful. Would love to come back when the weather is warmer and hang by the pool.

Just recently stayed over the weekend at this beautiful resort and wish we booked an extra day because besides the pool, there is so much to do at the actual resort! We stayed for our anniversary with our kids since we are a blended family and our wedding day is the day we all became a family. The staff (shout out to Cameron) made us feel special with cake, smores for the kids, and drinks for the adults! We loved it so much, we are considering making it our anniversary spot every year with the kids. Thanks to the staff for being so accommodating!

Everything about this place was awesome. Got upgraded to a preferred room, which was clean, Modern, spacious and comfortable. Customer service was great. The breakfast (buffet) had a ton of variety all with great flavor. Pool area is great. Perfect for families and kids.
