This Place Is Awesome. We don't have to travel to Georgia anymore. Everyone was so nice .The new design was outstanding. The room are all new and very clean. The Buffet was nice move, no long lines..We had a fantastic time there and our kids absolutely loved it. Check-in was easy and fast at the self-check-in station, the hotel's texting service about rooms, activity tips and even check-out was topnotch. The room was super-cool, kids loved the bunk-bed area. There is a lot to do at the hotel besides the Waterpark. Our kids loved the arcade room

No separate guest relations area just hour long lines for the front desk. |Luckily I was able to grab a manager in gift shop after the cashier called on her radio to tell them my issue. Our entire families bands stopped working. The response “sorry you have to see front desk”. Ridiculous but I got lucky! |Pool area indoors smells heavily chlorinated. They need to pump in fresh air. The outdoor pool area is like a public pool. |The drinks and food are sub par. We left for breakfast and dinner. |Think extra extra extra. The charges for bowling, a jungle play area that lasted 10 minutes for my kids $15 each. |Disney resorts and hotels are a much better value. I can see this benefiting grand parents in Naples for day passes when grandkids visit but we won’t be back from St. Pete. |The biggest positive was the gentleman working the games area where we spent $125 playing for about an hour. He was on it and very friendly when machine froze up. |Rooms were clean. Foam beds hold heat so I sweat all night but that’s not everyone.

I have been to several GWL before. This one is really new so we wanted to give it a try. Customer service was great. Front desk, waterpark and games attendants, arcade folks were all wonderful. The young adults working the ropes courses were so kind and patient. Can't be easy dealing with little kids all day. They were all so sweet. The bartenders in the waterpark were pretty close to horrible. Stood there a good 6-7 min without a single hello with other 2 other people at bar. I never returned. Bartenders inside restaurant much more attentive. Rooms were clean and comfortable. My kids just love it there!

I think an overall score over 3, below 4 is accurate….3.5 is probably a perfect score. The location is very easy to get to off I-75. Checking was easy, no real complaint there. I had absolutely no issues with the rooms. The kids loved the bunk beds, there was plenty of towels/bedding, and the pull out couch was great. PLENTY of entertainment for the kids. As much as I hate spending money on wands, it is essential for kids to get the real experience. The indoor pool has plenty of different water rides and pools. We got the cabana and it’s probably a waste of money for what you get. The service was overwhelmed and it would take over 30 min to get orders. Safety was excellent with lifeguards on high alert. Let me identify the gripe and it’s really just 1. The food is adequate. We did the breakfast buffet and Italian dinner buffet. For the price of the buffet, I don’t think it’s up to par. The chicken parm was good. The vegetables undercooked. Only one selection for a real meat and served sparingly. I found the serving size for the cheesecake laughably large….probably could cut it in half and the bill some just on that alone. Breakfast included an omelet and the food was better than dinner. Pancakes were inedible, even covered in sweets by the candy bar. My advice would be to eat elsewhere, but enjoy the stay! Overall I think we will come again one day, but no anytime soon. Oh, and the random, 2 x alarms to exit the building at 9 Pm and 11 PM hopefully was just a fluke.

We took our son here for an early birthday celebration. The check-in was quick and easy using the self check-in kiosk. We knew our room wasn’t going to be ready until 4pm but you can go anytime the day of check-in to enjoy the water park so we got there around noon and within 5 minutes of checking in the room was ready which was surprising. Be aware that they put a $100 room reservation hold on your credit card and the parking was $15 plus tax for overnight parking. The room was clean and comfortable. They had kid activities every few hours throughout the day. The water park was not overly crowded and warm. The staff members were friendly and nice. The food is overpriced which we tried not to eat there much and ate outside. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and definitely will be back with more family next time.

We had a fantastic time there and our kids absolutely loved it. Check-in was easy and fast at the self-check-in station, the hotel's texting service about rooms, activity tips and even check-out was topnotch. The room was super-cool, kids loved the bunk-bed area. There is a lot to do at the hotel besides the Waterpark. Our kids loved the arcade room and Phil, who worked there the 2 days we stayed at the Lodge made it extra special for them, he went above and beyond to made sure the kids having a great time. The ropes course was pretty awesome, Susan, who worked at the course had lots of great tips and advices for us, she was outstanding as well. Was there a longer wait for food in peak times, yes, but we were on vacation and not in a hurry. The entire family had a blast at the Lodge and we will be back soon.

We spent two days and one night there with my grandchildren 12 and 8. They loved everything about it. A few issues. The fire alarm went off twice, once at about 8:30 pm and then again 11 pm. The kids were extremely afraid. We were told to evacuate and many children were crying as we went down the stairs. Everyone was sleeping and to be woke up by this loud alarm and intercom telling us to evacuate immediately. By the time we got to the bottom floor it was called off both times (we were on 4th floor). No one offered an explanation. I did ask at front desk that morning and was told that ever since the hurricane they seem to have a lot of false alarms. They need to get that fixed. It was very traumatic for the young kids. Another issue was the soda stations were constantly out of syrup dispensing only carbonated water. Very few adult supervision, most workers are young. Very friendly. Food is very expensive, we had bought the package that gives you a $100 food credit and that didn’t cover lunch. Breakfast buffet is $26.99 per adult. $12,99 per child. My 8 year did get a rash from the chlorine in the pools. It is very high. My eyes were burning the first day and I didn’t even swim. The rope obstacle course with zip line was a big hit with my kids. All in all a fun place for the children. A few little issues that can be resolved easily and they would have a 5 star.

The place is fun for kids, but a total cash grab. The food is really, really bad. The rooms were comfy and clean and spacious. Very expensive for what it is. The amount of crows outside is really off-putting lol. Not sure why they charge anyone for parking. Water park is quite small and it’s kept a little too cold to enjoy. The temperature of the water is manageable but the atmosphere is too cold.
