Been living in Norman for a while but only recently discovered Green Feather. I've only visited a couple times so far, but I absolutely love this book store! The decorations and setup of the bookstore is cozy (I love the big sticker in the window, gives me a good chuckle every time I see it). They have a wide selection of books both new and used in various genres. Plenty of Scifi and fantasy for me.

I went into the store on a whim on a Tuesday Evening and met the owner while they were doing a book club. Turns out they have a variety of book clubs that they do every month on Tuesday, plus a Wednesday or a weekend here and there. There's a calendar hung up by the door to your left as you walk into the store. I recommend checking it out!

The owner and workers were incredibly kind and helpful. Had a fantastic conversation and I was recommended The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells, which I ended up loving. I love having those kinds of interactions with workers in a book store, where you can obviously tell they are also passionate about books and just want to share them with others. I highly recommend supporting a locally owned business and stopping by!

Heather was such a delight and gave fantastic service. Friendly greeting as soon as we came in and she engaged my 2 young children super well. I had been one time before by myself and got a vintage copy of Alice in Wonderland, but enjoyed having such a welcoming family friendly experience this time. We will be back and have this in our regular rotation and I’ll be going there to get my books and support a local small business whenever possible.

This little bookstore is such a gem! My kids enjoyed the books and knick knacks in the kids’ section while i wondered around Fiction and nonfiction and tried out their adorable seating. I saw before we left that it was even bigger than i originally thought! The associate was so kind and helpful, especially considering that i brought my 3 wild kids along… We each left with something!

This is such an amazing little bookstore! I grew up in Norman and had moved away for work for more than a decade, so it was such a treat to discover a well-curated, abundantly stocked independent bookstore upon my return! I take my kids (13 and 10) here all the time and they always find something they love. Especially make sure to check out the local interest/history section, and the thoughtful display of Native American literature. Ive also attended several of the bookclubs organized by the shop owner, and it was a great way to meet people in my community. Bookstores are a treasure, make sure to visit this one!

Anytime I have friends visiting from out of town, I send them to Green Feather! This little shop could keep you busy for a very long time digging through the intentional collection of literature to choose from. It's a great place to pick up gifts for friends and family, plus you get to support a small local business who cares about their community! I can't speak highly enough about this Norman treasure!

I am a fan of old books from the early 1900s and later. This book store has a great selection of vintage books and is reasonably priced as well.
They even have H.G. Wells books, I was shocked when I saw multiple books by him of the vintage book shelf.
Highly recommend.

Absolutely the best Indie book store in Norman. Great selection, very wide range of interests and topics available, and both new and used books galore. Fun stickers, totes, journals and great gifts for anyone! Heather, the owner, has donated entire SUVs full of books to the Little Free Libraries I stock and is always willing to participate in any community kindnesses I come up with. Brought my out of state parents where when they were visiting and all of us were able to find books we wanted to take home, despite varying vastly in preference and taste of reading material.

Green Feather is everything you want your local bookstore to be. They have smiling faces to greet you who also will suggest new authors and titles you might like based on books you've already read. They have a huge selection but are always willing to special order something for you. They have easy parking and are open almost every day. I also love the community building events they hold, whether it's poetry nights or their silent book club or author talks, there is always something going on. This book store is the real deal.
