Walked in and was immediately hit with a terrible smell. Like a mix of mold and musty. Went to grab a few things in produce and everything had mold on it, which explains the smell

My local Greers. Real nice people. The grocery selection leaves a bit to be desired. And the product placement is helter skelter. Like items at multiple locations in the store. Also they wafer cut meats like steaks and chops, super thin.

Lucy Greer needs to visit this store. It is the only grocery store in the city and it is horrendous. The parking is horrible. The store is too small and cramped when you get inside. Floor tiles coming up everywhere.
The srmtore is old and dirty and in great need of repair. I went into the beer cave and one of the units running in there was so liud i needed hearing protection. The people of Grand Bay deserve better. Focus on all your stores Lucy, not just the ritzy ones with rooftop bars downtown. Your customers will greatly appreciate it, I guarantee it.

Lucy Greer, go check out the Grand Bay location. The store has water leaking from coolers all over the floors. It's unsafe.
The staff in front were friendly and I found a good deal on tuna and Barq's cream soda but overall, the prices are too high. I'm disappointed ?

Customer service needs worked on. Cashier's are rude and act like it's a problem for them to do their jobs. The Ladies at the service deck are no better.

The stores very clean and well organized. Staff are friendly. Only downside is the parking lot, but realistically that's to be expected in a smaller community.

I went to Greers at 10120 Grandbay-Wilmer Rd. Grand at, Al 36541 on 1/17/2024 to grocery shop with my grandson. We went to self-checkout and needed assistance to finish paying, at which point the cashier told me she couldn't help me. I asked for the manager who also said she couldn't help, both of them were rude and bothered that I dared need assistance while another manager looked on. I realize that they have numerous duties, but one of their jobs is to assist shoppers in getting groceries and purchasing groceries. Why are they there? I ended up solving the problem myself with alternative payment options thank goodness. What about others that don't have that luxury? My grandson was embarrassed and just wanted to leave. This is unacceptable, a grocery store for a whole community employs individuals who refuse to assist customers. That is what behavior we endured, both adamantly stating they could not fix the problem while another manager watched from the customer service desk. Horrendous to have that experience, knowing full well that they are supposed to be knowledgeable and trained for the position of cashier and manager. It frustrated me, working in customer service and cashiering before I was able to fix the problem myself. What about others that cannot?
