Absolutely a top notch dealer. They are about three and a half hours away, made the entire process of purchasing our first ever NEW boat a breeze. Treated my youngest like family from the moment we walked in the door. Mr. Johnny was awesome !Hopefully I won't ever need warranty work, but if I do I have no doubt they will be fantastic.

Bought a utility trailer. Prices and process were quick and easy. Only negative was salesperson who I was supposed to meet to finalize sale was not there. Told he was out testing a boat. No big deal as another person stepped in and finalized it.

Very happy with my experience at Gulf to Lake Marine. I e been shopping around d for a boat for a very long time. Doing tons of research to determine what boat fits my needs. Gould to Lake has a wide selection of different types of boat, from go devils for the swamps and marshes to off shore fishing machines. My need was a nice flats/bay boat. The upgrades installed were performed meticulously, very neat, clean.. perfect.
Sales staff was very informative and helpful in making my decision. Very please with it.

Started out positive, however, here we are 10 days later and I still can’t use the boat.
When I purchased the boat, I upgraded the motor from a 115 to a 140hp. When the boat was delivered, I was assured it had been water tested. My wife and I launched the boat, ride up to the docks and started it up. Went to pull away and it would not go into gear. We won’t go into the fun times trying to remove it, unpowered, but I digress.
I called the dealership, the manager attempted the give instructions on how to adjust the cables, (this was while it was in the water), to no avail.
We home, attempted to adjust the cable, worked fine. Went back out the next day, went into forward, but not reverse. Called dealership again, to which they sent a representative. It was discovered that a securing collar and bolt had not been installed to keep the cables in place. Whenever they did the engine swap, this was missed.. it can happen to anyone, but it’s been over 10 days, and I’m still not in the water. Johnny was great, but do not assume that it is water tested without verification. This would have been discovered immediately if it had.

We are LOVING our new 2200 Bulls Bay and had a flawless experience with the stellar staff at Gulf to Lake. Scott made quick initial contact after our online inquiry about inventory, sent photos, and answered the many questions we had. Johnny helped us the day we came to look in person and took the time to talk to us at length about what we wanted in a boat. His knowledge of fishing helped us compare models and make the best decision for our boating and fishing needs. Johnny went above and beyond for us and we’re thrilled with what we chose. Ian was so nice and easy to work with and personally showed us around as well. We drove over from another county and never felt any pressure or rush. They were able to perfectly customize our bay boat with everything we wanted and we picked it up just a week later. Our sea trial with Captain Hank that day was well worth the hour spent learning all the features of our Bulls Bay. This is a super fun group of guys who welcomed us then worked together to make us 100% happy we chose Gulf to Lake.

The trailer’s are made well that they sell. Of course they don’t make them, just sell them. The problem I had was they changed me for an upgraded axle that Dan said was approximately $299.00. I said okay but it’s not on my invoice and he said don’t worry the $299.00 is in there figures. Dan said it maybe cheaper when he gets the answer from the manufacture. Well nothing from Dan until time to pick it up. So I asked how much was the axle upgrade he said it was what ever I told you. So I ask what did you tell me? He didn’t know. I said I wrote it down on my invoice $299.00. So was it cheaper then that? He said umm let me talk to the manager. So the manager said this is the price. The axle was never upgraded all they did was ungraded the trailer sticker! So make sure you get everything in writing at this place. The word will not be stood behind. Here we are a week after post this review. The higher up management called me to see why I posted a bad review. He also said he was going to figure out what happened to the mistake with the trailer deal and would call me back. No other call from him. I’m guessing the problem starts at the top. I stand by my review make sure you have everything in writing from this company.

Highly recommend this place! Great prices and awesome people. My man Johnny Brooks sold me my first Xpress and I absolutely love it! He knew the insides and out of the entire boat and helped with everything we asked, couldn't have asked for a better experience
