Moved up to Crescent, April 20 24 and had a couple of pups needed a vet and Guthrie is the closest little town so Guthrie Pet Hospital was the staff here are all amazing people and they actually care about the well-being of your animal over just making money off of you, although it is expensive All that service is expensive. Their prices are competitive with everybody else pretty much so they’re not like the cheapest place in town or anything, but if you want proper care for your animals, this is the only place that I would take them in Guthrie while I live here

Our dog acts like a psycho at the vet and they are always very patient and understanding. It’s affordable and they don’t push a lot on you. We’ve used their grooming service too and were happy with it. Overall we’ve always had a good experience and would recommend them!

Our normal vet had no openings and we had a minor emergency. We were able to get in and find out what was going on with our dog. The staff were nice and knowledgeable, and the prices were good. I definitely recommend!

EDIT: in the last few days we have been to Blue Pearl as well as another vet that we switched to after all of this numerous times spending thousands of dollars because she has gotten way way worse and is currently in the hospital these vets have both confirmed that my dog now is having steroid toxicity with liver and gallbladder issues, tremors, rapid labored breathing, severely rapid heart rate, hyperventilation, vomiting ,,diarrhea ,not eating ,not drinking ,dehydrated , stomach ulcer,s a bladder infection because her immune system was so suppress, severely elevated liver and gallbladder levels inflamed gallbladder etc etc as well as what is mentioned below because she was given a dose of prednisone that was enough for a 100 lb dog so twice her size and was given proheart 12 while sick which goes against the manufacturer's warnings... And with a potential heart issue she should have never been given the prednisone in the first place .We now are treating severe symptoms for what was brought in as a potential respiratory issue / infection and to see if a potential enlarged heart could be causing these respiratory issues which has been confirmed to not be the case at all this is just become straight up negligent at this point and even the other two vets confirmed that this should never have happened.

There was alot of miscommunication that has made our family extremely weary of taking our dogs back here ever again. The vet assistant I talked to didn't have correct / proper medical information and did not remember medications administered to my pet even though she was just seen a few days ago and it should be in her chart, which she should have looked at and confirmed before she called me back, it just seemed like there was a lot of confusion and mix up. I'm not even quite sure if she actually ever talked to a vet because she kept changing what she was saying as to what the vet told her....I asked for clarification on giving my dog pro heart 12 while she was sick she thought that another clinic had done it and proceeded to say that it shouldn't have be given if she was sick and I reminded them that they had actually given that to my dog not the emergency clinic.... Then she proceeded to say well I can't speak on behalf of the vet so if she gave it to the dog then there was a reason.....she did have a mild allergic reaction with hives the first night to it so we are hoping we don't have further complications down the road as we were also never advised on side effects on any of the medications she received that day including the reactions to the prednisone like the incontinence we are now experiencing an with our dog that's never had issues and is literally peeing everywhere and extremely thirsty, ECT.

Great service. I have an elderly cat that is very big. Just his structure, but i cant get him and myself in for visits. Ben comes to my car and packs the big guy in for me- plus brings him back out!

Guthrie Animal Hospital is friendly and inviting. They seem to truly care about your pet. I love their online app that helps you keep track of appointments and stay in touch with their office, if needed.

I got my Getman Shepherd and 2 shih tzus bathed and groomed. They did a fantastic job! I will definitely come back!
