My son is an avid sports fan and was excited to get some cards from here. It’s only Pokémon cards, no sports cards. There are 28 spots in the vending machine, 26 were Pokémon cards and 2 were empty.

If you care about Pokémon cards this would be fun, but to say it is also sports cards is false advertising.

Edited to add after response - It wasn’t the “default category listing,” it was part of the store title - “The Hobby Box, Pokemon and Sports Cards Vending Machine @theoaksmall”.

Based on the condescending tone and rudeness from the owner, I think the 1 star review is more than warranted.

NOT A TRADING CARD SHOP. I dont understand why this is labeled like this as it is very confusing and frustrating to me and my family as the customer. Kids were sad as they thought they were going to be going to a trading card shop as it labeled. Also prices were resalers high, not good.

Gabe is extremely helpful. I had been searching high and low for certain cards for my nephews for Christmas. He came through for me and I couldn’t be more appreciative! Very interesting idea! Found a machine in the Melbourne Square Mall. Such a great and accessible idea for kids to get into this hobby with a hint of the random chance from the regular store bought packs.

Paid for cards but didn’t see it in the drop location. texted the number and received a text back almost instantly. As for the cards they did in fact drop. Sorry for the false alarm and thanks for the awesome selection of cards.

not official not licensed pokemon card packs. Beware. Common scam type. No way to prove amount of rares or what cards are in resealed packs

This is the coolest vending machine I’ve ever seen! Just got some great sports cards for my nephew and it made his day! Awesome selection and location in the mall, super convenient to drop in for a quick purchase 🙂

I've never been to this before but my friend has she said that the vending machine glitched and the prize got stuck. Very bad
