So much potential but lacking in every way. Huge space with bare shelves, can’t sell them if you don’t have them. The track, again huge potential but another miss. With racing eliminated the condition to “practice” is poor. Looks like it hasn’t been touched in a while. And in lazy store owner fashion the bathrooms are “closed”. Yet I watched her let an elderly gentleman use them. My guess is the place will be gone soon. Which is sad because it had potential.

I absolutely love that they have an indoor clay track to practice on ! Not a common site in Florida, I drive over an hour just to go here and run my cars. Great staff, easy going environment, nice work benches to wrench and charge your batteries etc..

Nice store. Lots of RC items. They even have a race track for customers. Good selection of model paint.
I will definitely be going back . Malika is a great sales representative. Very helpful.

Walk in excited needed a few things for an older RC nitro truck that I still have.. had to find someone up front, then it was like it was a bother / nuisance that I had questions and was looking for certain things.. they were more interested in running there own cars inside.
I asked about the race track in doors and when they raced on it I got another abrupt answer like again I was disturbing them..
I probably would have spent more money I was even in the market for another RC car purchase instead I just walked out..
Sucks because it used to be fun to go to the RC shop

I went to the Ross that is right next door and then I entered Hobbytown with several bags in search of my boyfriend. Previously I spent $250 on a car for him, in search of parts we returned. He was already being attended, when I entered the staff asked me to leave the bags on the counter to be more comfortable, but I understood that it was to prevent theft and I had NO problem doing it. After 3 minutes! 3 minutes! I'm going back to take my bags since we couldn't find the piece. So, the same lady who saw me put the bags and looked at my face doing it, was accusing me that those bags were not mine. She took them abruptly and accused us of stealing with the worst attitude. We were so upset, she snatched them from our hands with attitude. She definitely has some mental illness because it was a very short time and we were the ONLY customers. The lady yells at her partner if I was the person who left the bags, so he said, "yes," frightened by her attitude and the situation she was creating. She didn't know what to do and with the same attitude she told us: "that she had to do her job." I've read about more cases like this. The owner needs a new cashier.. They want respect and don't give it. We never return.

When in to check if they had a specific brand of rc trucks - arrma. Place was very huge, maybe one of the largest hobby shop I visited. One plus is the track in the back! Inventory on shelves was very sparsely stocked.

Shelves were basically empty, seems like a lot of store to have nothing in there. Then I was just walking around the store in the RC car section looking at what little inventory they did have when I felt singled out/ targeted when 3 staff members were starting at me and the old man wearing the Traxxas hat was sharing oxygen with me to ask what I was looking for. As someone who does their best when it comes to RC to shop local and not go to Amazon or any of the other hundreds of sites I could… won’t be going back to this location

I had a problem with an RC car I bought and they made it right and handled it like pros!! You can tell a lot about a company with how they treat you after the purchase. I will definitely be coming back!
