I just had a gorgeous ring made from a sunstone I "mined" from ore shipped to my home from the Oregon sunstone mine. The gemstone was faceted at Holly's referral and created from a photo I showed Sheila. I'm beyond happy with the ring. You are all just great! Thank you!!!

I had a dream of commemorating what brought my fiancé and I together on our wedding rings to make them unique and special. When I approached Holly with the idea, I was surprised at not only how accommodating she was, but also how encouraging. She, Kevin and all her staff worked closely with me on it until we got it just right, Holly always making sure it would finish out with a quality to last a lifetime. Holly always does an incredible job when I need anything repaired. She checked and replaced any prongs on my ring and when I picked it up it was so shiny! Looked better than new.

Whoever worked on my mother's silver ring was very enthusiastic with the buffer and buffing. Common bleach restored the patina in the appropriate places, so no lasting effects or damage. The original jewelry maker's proof mark was also taken down a bit by the buffing. The proof mark still there, though, just fainter. I brought my mother's ring to you to have the damaged stone replaced with the one I provided. This was done. Thank you for this. Sometimes, however, things like a patina or a proof mark are an integral part of an item's "look" or provenance and should be respected. I am not looking for a refund, either in whole or in part. But please be careful with other people's things when you work on them. My mother's ring was a gift from my late father and I remember her wearing it when I was a small child. She has mobility issues and is now in a care facility, so I promised her I would have it repaired for her. If I seem upset, it is on my mother's behalf and not mine. Thank you.

Holly and I designed my first custom piece: a birthstone ring of my family, and I am so proud to wear it. She was so patient with me during the design process, answered my questions, listened to my concerns and had creative suggestions that left me leaving that first day excited to see its completion. Her and her lovely staff were kind and wonderful to work with, and consistently kept me up to date throughout the whole process.
Truly a lovely experience and I will return. The picture doesn’t do it justice ❤️

My fiancé and I saw Holly McHone Jewelers while spending a couple hours in Astoria, OR. Even though they weren’t open that day, we decided to check out some of the engagement rings on their website and saw one that was exactly what I wanted! We are huge supporters of makers, crafters, and creators so when we read a bit more about Holly, we were so excited to see her level of involvement and detail in the design and construction of each piece! We wrote the number on the website and were very impressed that Holly texted us right back. So we went back the next day to try on the ring. We got to meet Holly and had the pleasure of working with Sheila as we tried on the ring, picked out the center stone, and selected a matching wedding band too. Sheila and Holly and the team made this an enjoyable experience. They kept in touch with us while the ring was being made and when it arrived, we were blown away! Not a day goes by when this ring doesn’t catch my eye or get compliments. It’s beautiful and perfectly us!
