Commons? There's nothing "common" about Hoover Commons! Burlington! Party City! Chick fila! A furniture store that I can't remember the name of! Some other restaurants! Holy cow!

Yuck...Habanero's is one of the worst Mexican restaurant chains ever. Thought this one might be better than the one in Bessemer but nope. Iguana's off Lorna Rd and Pablos at the Collonade are much better.

I am saddened by the service received and the food presented because normally it's not this. We had gone in for a late lunch/early dinner. When the food arrived, mine was so salty I couldn't eat it. The server never came back by. We had to get the check at the hostess stand. The manager was standing nearby and asked how our meal was. I explained I come there often but that day's meal was inedible. I explained it was so salty I could only take like two bites. She never flinched. Her response was simply "we've not had any complaints.' I suggested she go back and look at the plates still on the table to see that I was being truthful. She never moved. Nor did she offer an apology, offer to replace the meal, or even to discount my next meal. That was my indication she simply did not care whether we were happy or not. I haven't been back!

I went to Party City and Dollar Store in Hoover Common,the first one has improved, and the other is a mess

The service was slow, we arrived at 2:30 we ordered around 4;40 they would bring food leave it on the tray without putting it on the table. Some in the group ordered Salmon about an hour later they came and said we only have three pieces would you like to order something else because 5 people had ordered it. Lord, it was terrible.
