Great Craft Brewery

This craft brewery is a must-visit! They offer an impressive variety of unique, delicious beers, and the place itself is massive. It’s not just about great beer—there are also arcade games to enjoy, making it a fun spot to hang out. Highly recommend for beer lovers and anyone looking for a lively atmosphere.

We live in the area but, we just came to Hourglass Brewing for the first time. It turned out that it’s a pretty cool place to hang out and grab a few pints. The selection was varied and the beers were great. They don’t serve food but, you can bring it from outside, including from the restaurants next door. The staff were friendly and diligent as well.

First let me state upfront we ended up not staying here. Walked in thinking it was a brewery with food. There's no food. Instead there's a passway to the taco place next door. We did not want tacos. When we sat down, we guessed the WR code on the table was the menu since there doesn't seem to be any waiters or waitresses. The QR code did work and only showed drinks. We looked around and saw the taco place pass through and figured that was their way of offering food. Since no one came to our table, we left.

Doesn't seem to be a welcoming place to newcomers, just regulars.

I had had then on my list to try but since I don't come to the area often, I have missed them all this time!

The brewery is very spacious and nice. The have games, inside and outside seating and a couple of sizes for the beer they have.

The staff is nice, attentive and happy to answer questions or make any recommendations. We went with 2 and sure were good!

We got the I-4 Eyesore (lager with citrus), Hiram's Secret Sauce (strawberry/lemon) and the Life in Plastic (berry blend w/vanilla). We enjoyed all of them but the favorite was Hiram's. We need to come back and try their sour, which I forgot to ask details about it.

The do have cider but it is not made in house (since it is done in a different process and license) but still offer alternatives.

We will definitely come back and if you get hungry, there are 2 restaurants next door.

I’ve been here many times. I love the variety of beers and other beverages - alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Plus, the convenience of Papa Bee’s and Wako Taco being right next door means you can have tasty food with your drinks.
Many bars have a specific music vibe/genre. My recollection was that Hourglass had mostly an eclectic vibe, but that definitely was not the case toward the end of the night tonight (a Friday night). About an hour prior to closing, the music was back-to-back screaming - I’m not sure if it would be considered heavy metal, death metal, or what, but it was interesting to me that there wasn’t variety to the music at the end of the night. Ultimately, we chose to leave after hearing 4 songs of the genre since we weren’t enjoying it. However, I know this music would be appealing to many people so maybe it’s just the genre of this particular brewery.

This is the first brewery started In Seminole County that is still open. They began in a small location just down the road and are now one of the most notable breweries in all of Central Florida. Great atmosphere, fun and friendly staff, games, pinball machines, art, and solid beers and food. Waco Taco and Papa Bees are attached to the brewery and compliment the beer well. If you’re visiting the area this is one of the breweries you must visit! 🍻

Haley & Britany,
Thank you for making us feel so warm and welcome coming in from out of town. This place is awesome. We were so excited to drive almost an hour to meet Jesse T Maddox from 21&Done Cornhole.
Were even more excited to eat, drink & throw some bags.
Thank you for your establishment & inviting the cornhole crew into play local tournaments. We will definitely come back through.

Great beers. I always love the effort hourglass takes into providing many different styles of beer that you may not otherwise come across in Florida.
