I arrived at 7:30 AM, their opening time. I was a walk-in so I wanted to get this done and not wait so long. No one showed up to open until 9:30 AM! They stated it was a “mix up”. I waited 2 hours just to get in the building. There were several people waiting that came after me but had appointments. I informed the lady there how long I had been waiting, and she put me last on the list because I was a walk-in. I completely understand if that is policy that appointments go first, however, if they had opened at their correct time I would have been gone 10 minutes later, at 7:40 AM. Instead, I left around 11 AM. The lady there was very friendly and nice, but it was a very frustrating process considering they were over 2 hours late to their shift. According to the staff at the port, it happens often. If I ever need anything else from there, I’ll drive to the Elk Grove location.

Can be crowded, but the young girl there handles it quite efficiently all by herself. Just use the TSA-Precheck online application and be ready with a card, money order or cashiers check. They do not take cash! Check your appointment time and go EARLY!!! A couple of people are placed in one time slot. Then if someone comes in late - you gotta wait a while!!! Do not bother with gov+ that’s just paying fees twice. Not worth it!!! Or just apply for Global Entry and it should come with TSA-Precheck. Happy travels!!!

Got there at 7:30 am and waited 2 hours until someone finally showed up. We didn't have an appointment but we would've been done already because Noone was there from 7:30 to 8. Then had to wait for all the appointments first which I understand have priority but at this point, we could've been quickly done and out.

I came in today to get my fingerprints scanned, and the lady that did my scans was extremely nice. If I knew her name, I would 100% include it here because she seriously was amazing and very helpful. But, there was another man working in the store today that was absolutely rude and demeaning. I don't know his name either, but he really should not be working for this company. He was an older man with glasses, and mustache. His tone of voice was so rude, and I was hoping so badly not to be helped by him. If he talked to me in the way that he was talking to other customers, I would've been so flustered. It was uncomfortable to listen to. A family member of mine was outside of the office and she could hear him from outside, and knew he was talking in such a rude manner. I'm never one to complain, but his attitude was horrific and I felt the need to leave a review about his behavior. Absolutely horrible.

Very friendly staff, very informative and made sure all my needs were met for HazMat renewal. I've read some other reviews and all I could say is just make sure you come prepared with all the required identification and documents you need to expedite your appointment. Make sure you have valid identification, birth certificates, just bring everything you can and things will go a lot easier.

When you get to the intersection just before identogo do not follow the GPS taking you down McCloy Street. Just stay straight over the overpass and just before you hit the entry to the port you will see a little side street and the building to the right. There was no way for me to edit the route along the way on google. So there's no way to cross over the tracks like they tell you to from McCloy.

I wasn't able to make the appointment in time for the renewal so I had to do a walk-in. I got lucky and there was nobody waiting in line when I did. So I can't speak for the rest of everyone when it comes to walk-in appointments just a luck of the draw.

Just left here to take care of some business documents. Was greeted by a lady with a smile and a great attitude. She made this experience and process a very smooth and efficient one. Thank you very much for your positive attitude.

Girl talked softly and fast. Had a hard time hearing her. I am 76 so age could be a factor. Other wise I was treated kindly and quickly.
