Very pleased with our decision to stay here, EVERYONE we encountered on their staff was lovely. Seriously, everyone! Folks that stood out: both bellman who shuttled us to and from the beach - including runs in the evening when they normally don’t do beach runs) and ESPECIALLY Amy at the front desk. She ensured a room was ready for us for an early check in and welcomed us like she’d known us for years (regarding our early check in - we had requested it but understood they couldn’t guarantee it…. Man did they deliver!!). The breakfast each day was lovely, sitting out by the pool was peaceful too. Rooms were comfortable and well sized, loved the shower - lots of hot water and great water pressure. Only request, put a fan in the gym. It’s an adequate but small room that got a little warm. Oooh and loved the free bikes! All in all a great place to stay!!! THIS is the place to stay!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn of Pelican Bay! Loved the location. Great breakfasts, friendly staff, beautiful kept grounds and very comfortable beds and pillows. We had a great bellman/driver, Krenar, who was SO personable and professional! We had such good conversations on our ride down to the beach! He is a wonderful asset to this hotel! We also had a great housekeeper, Francesca, who kept our room immaculate everyday!

The Inn at Pelican Bay is just that, an Inn. It is not luxury or a resort even though you are charged a daily resort fee of almost $45 (39.95 + tax) If you are only using this Inn to sleep at, it's great. We booked a room for $598 and ended up at over $700 per night with all the taxes and fees. Just not worth it.||The Pros:|The rooms are kept very clean by the housekeeping staff. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, some of the best I've had and the free breakfast in the morning has a large selection of treats including fresh made omelets. They also offer a free shuttle to the beach and will provide chairs and umbrellas. The shuttle drivers are all very accommodating. ||The Cons:|The pool is extremely small, the online pictures make is look much more beautiful than it is, and although they say there's a hot tub, in our week long stay we never saw one. There are no cocktails or lunch around the pool since the bar doesn't even open until 3pm and is PROMPTLY closed by 11pm. So nightcaps are out too. There is no restaurant on premises, just a tiny snack shop that once again is closed by 11pm. The wifi (which is considered a resort amenity) does not work outside by the pool or on the porch where you eat breakfast. The majority of the guests there during our stay were 70 plus years old. (February-march).||Im not sure how Trip Advisor ranks them #1 in Napels, #1 in Florida and #25 in the US. It is nowhere near, and I stay at hotels 4 times a month. If you want luxury and a resort, stay at the Ritz or Laplaya. This is closer to a Courtyard Marriott.

We spent a week at the Inn at Pelican Bay. The staff, accommodations, breakfasts and the amenities were all top notch. Our mornings started with freshly made omelets while listening to a gentleman playing the guitar. Then onto the shuttle with beach chairs, umbrellas and towels provided by the Inn for a day at nearby Vanderbilt Beach. Our days always ended enjoying the beautiful and very clean pool. Easy access to Publix, CVS and many great restaurants in walking distance was also a plus. A special “thank you” to Kay, Michael, Krenar and Robert who made our stay a very memorable one. We truly look forward to returning.

This hotel is perfect for beach days. The complimentary drive to the beach with towels, chairs, and umbrellas is unbeatable. Tony is the best bartender. He makes drinks worth your buck and delicious. Definitely go to the bar for a drink with Tony. The breakfast is also delicious and worth every penny. Very glad we stayed here!

We recently spent two weeks at this beautiful Resort where the highlights are a staff who is warm and knowledgeable and a superior location in Pelican Bay. The breakfast is accompanied by lovely guitar music live every morning. Guest rooms are lovely and ours was two steps from the Jacuzzi. Robert and his whole front desk team are the best and we can’t wait to return!

Fantastic place to stay. Customer service is the best. Concierge staff can help with any recommendations and reservations. Location is great. Ride a bike to the beach. Great shopping within walking distance. Many restaurants within walking distance as well. Pool and hot tub were excellent.

Let’s start with the good: The beds and pillows are some of the best. The housekeeping is excellent. The place is quiet. Shuttle drivers were all very nice ||The strange: The pictures are not nearly to scale. The pool is 40’ long, average size of any back yard pool. The property is actually quite small. ||The missing: Cocktails are difficult to come by. The bar is only open from 3-11pm. One of the two bartenders lacks any social skills whatsoever. There is no restaurant. You get breakfast. It’s decent. Bring your own cup if you want anything besides paper. ||The indifferent: Average age of guests is 70. Place is a ghost town by 9pm. Maybe that’s why the bar closes ? Simply put; the rankings and accolades are actively solicited. There is no way this place should rank higher than any Ritz Carleton.
