I have used this company twice now. I have been very pleased with the quality of the work that was done in my home. I had 2 bathrooms tiled and remodeled to perfection, and hardwood flooring installed in my living and family rooms. My husband and I arrived at your store at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, knowing the posted closing time was 3:00. Upon entering, we were greeted with clear disappointment by an employee who appeared ready to close early. Despite our attempt to lighten the mood with some friendly joking, he remained unwelcoming.

We proceeded to the tile section and had only been there a few minutes when the same employee responded rudely to our questions. When I asked about samples, he said, “Yes, on the board,” and then quickly added, “If you want to check those out, we need to get this done soon,” even though only 10 minutes had passed since we arrived.

This interaction was extremely off-putting. A simple heads-up at the door about closing early would’ve been understandable, but the dismissive and rude behavior was not. We previously had a great experience with your store when we installed hardwood flooring throughout our lower level. Unfortunately, due to this recent encounter, we will not be returning for our upcoming bathroom remodel projects.

Excellent carpet buying experience at Iskalis American Floor Show. Everyone was very knowledgeable and professional, and welcomed our questions. We enjoyed working with Mason as he was very responsive throughout the process and worked with us to achieve our schedule. Both installation crews were excellent: professional, detailed, very efficient, and on-time...also clean with the install as the baseboard trim was in excellent condition after the carpet installation. No complaints at all and we will absolutely return to Iskalis as our new carpet looks great!

Extremely Disappointed with Customer Service

We were planning to purchase flooring for our entire house and had high hopes walking into Iskalis in Gurnee. Unfortunately, our experience was incredibly disappointing. We had questions and were ready to have a conversation about options, but the gentleman working there—if you can even call him a gentleman—was extremely rude, unhelpful, and basically ignored us.

I’m a very easy-going person, but there’s no excuse for the way we were treated. When someone is that blatantly disrespectful, I walk out—and that’s exactly what I did. Iskalis will never have my business.

Iskalis Floor Show put in waterproof vinyl flooring in my living room, kitchen and hallway. They had the most beautiful patterns and styles, and I love the flooring. Easy care, for those with pets, their installers were amazing, fast and knowledgeable. The owner and the installers and their supervisor were very nice and kind, accommodating all our needs. I would not hesitate to recommend them! I am going to have them back to do the bedrooms and bathroom soon! Thanks to John Iskalis and Team!
