What a gem! Our small community could not get by without J & L. They have a great selection of groceries, beverages, snacks, dried goods, cleaning supplies, and more. Was there the other day because I very much needed cilantro for a recipe. I stopped in and was so happy they had it! For a small neighborhood grocery store I have always found what I needed. J&L is a small local grocery of the sort that has almost died out. But since Crockett isn't home to a big grocery store it is immensely convenient to have in town. The selection is surprisingly good for such a small store and the people are friendly and helpful. Get a copy of the Crockett Signal while you are in there.

Great little store! The staff is very friendly, and given that this store is around a 10 minute walk from my house, its incredibly convenient to pick up a soda or treat when I'm walking by. I only knock off a star for the prices on a lot of the items. Beer and canned goods are alright, but soda, chips, and candy are exorbitant. I'd give 4 and a half stars if I could because everything else about this place is fantastic.

More of a small grocery store than a convenience-type store. They have you covered for milk, eggs, potatoes, lettuce, frozen food, canned food, coffee, cleaning supplies, etc. Not a bad beer selection for the size of the place, too.

I stop here for something or another pretty much every day, and they rarely disappoint. Friendly and helpful staff, too.
