I started buying shoes from Sikes next door years ago. They were always helpful. I finally went into Jack n Jill after giving birth to my daughter and I was looked at as if I were in the wrong place. I was watched closely. I went ahead and purchased a dress because I would travel quite a few miles to get there. Years later I went back to this store and didn't feel welcomed at all.The lady did not speak to me but welcomed other customers as they came in with a smile. I didn't buy anything that day. I haven't been back and will never go back. I can now order nice brands online. They get 1 star because they carry the nice brands.

I’ve had excellent experiences here fitting my kids for shoes. Mikiea (sp?) is a true professional, and she went out of her way to make sure the shoes fit with room to grow. They are always so busy on Saturdays when I go. They have a digital sign-in pad for help, which seems fair to me. I was sad to read the comments below that seem to suggest there is bad customer service here. That hasn’t been my experience, and I saw staff and patrons of several races working and shopping at Sikes. I’ve never witnessed anything but exceptional service at the new location where I have shopped.

I had the worst experience coming into this store. I was not greeted as I walked into the store and as I walked around and picked outfits for my daughter no one said anything to me. The two ladies that were working in the store stayed engaged in conversation with two customers. Once I decided I was going to leave then something was said to me. I even called to share my experience and the lady over talked me and then hung up in my face. I assumed my money was not good enough or I was not the right skin color. Horrible first experience.

Daniela was absolutely wonderful. it's so great to see that customer service is still existing.I have always shopped Jack and Jill since my daughter was a baby and now for the grandkids and love it. the new location is even more convenient. thank you Jack and Jill for your years of great product and customer service.

Really disappointed. I walked in the store and nobody spoke to me or asked if I needed help. When I came back to the store another day to return a shirt, I felt grilled about why I was returning it and the saleswoman was rude about not having the tag for the shirt. I had the receipt, so I don't know what the issue was. I see from the other reviews that this shop needs to work on customer service. They have cute things, I just wish they were more welcoming.

Literally the same thing happened to me as customer Jashae. I received wonderful service at Sikes and wandered over to the clothing store to check out their selection. Not only was I ignored, the sales associate purposefully sought to help another patron (same skin color as her), passing me by. Too bad, as I had come to buy my son's church and weekend clothing for the season.

Walked in and was TOTALLY IGNORED. No hello, I will be with you in a moment....
Expecting our 1st grandchild in days. I went in there looking for a 'going home from the hospital gown'..... NOT CHEAP. Was willing to spend WHATEVER.
