I love Joann’s for their selection, deals, and mostly their inclusivity and forward-thinking! This store always has everything I need and has wonderful hours. Plenty of parking, great associates, great selection, etc. I just can’t say enough good things!

I placed on order for upholstery thread for pick up in Hoover, AL. The app stated they had 8 available. I ordered 6. The next day half my order was cancelled. I went out of town for the weekend. While away, I purchased 6 spools from a different JoAnn's location. Monday morning while at work I received an email my order was picked up. I called to inquire as to why my order was given to the incorrect person. I was told I could be given a refund in-person. I went to my local store and waited over 20 minutes to speak with a manager! This has to be the worst online shopping experience I've had thus far. I will make a concerted effort to no longer shop at JoAnn's in the future - neither online or in-store.

2 workers at fabric counter ...one staying at a computer type thing and one moving fabric around. The fabric ticket machine was Empty and neither worker looked at me or acknowledged my presence for 4-5 minutes . Not even to say I'll be there in just a second.

To long lines to get material cut.There was only one person at the cutting counter. Great selections but wasn't worth the wait.

They were out of some fabric I needed more of at this location but was able to buy 2 yards to have delivered to home.

Online orders for pickup not filled correctly. Items in store for me to pull off the shelf myself. Employees are rude. Since it is the only JoAnn's in Birmingham metro, a lot of people drive long distances to get there. Michael's is way better!

Joann Fabrics has what I need 9 times out of 10, and since they've started carrying more cosplay crafting materials I have no doubt it can become my local one stop shop for almost everything. Found the perfect material to make an Outlander-inspired dress this past Halloween!
