We were there during a St.Patricks parade and pretty much had the stores to ourselves. The food court was understandably busy with parade goers. Lakeside is one of the best malls still in operation.

I visit this mall every time I am in this área, there is a Cafe du monde here and I am in love with their products.
Any time I park my 53' here, I enjoy and relax, las time I got a parfum too.
I noticed they re-newed, it was amazing because the people walking by the mall was absolubly different, I saw many families walking and shopping.
It's a pleasure.

So Lakeside mall is centrally located in New Orleans and probably one of the best malls in the city.

People often visit for the Apple Store which is the main attraction, at least I did. You’ll have to be in a queue to get your product as they sell their products like hot cakes. You’ll get a world class experience with Apple products in this store. Also, there is no Apple Store in next 50 miles. You’ll have to stop in Houston if you miss this one.

Victoria’s Secret is another store that leaves you drooling all the way along! It’s the first store when you enter from the west and always thronged with pretty ladies. They often run discounts on fast selling products! Ah! The vibe itself is mesmerising.

You’ll get all the brands with amazing discount running in the Holliday season.

Good food too with never disappoint you! But yes, there’s nothing special with the food. It is the typical American food court with all those famous outlets that you find everywhere!

Pros: Good crowd, centrally located, Apple Store, multiple brands

Cons: I didn’t find any!

This mall is a great place to walk when the weather is bad. It is also a great place to shop. There is a wide variety of shops and occasionally they have some form of entertainment. The day I wrote this, there was an art show. For Easter, they had a train ride in the middle of the mall and pictures with the Easter bunny. They have something for the whole family.

This mall is always clean and so many great options. It's tough finding a parking spot sometimes, but I just park on the north end of the mall for easier access. Enjoy your shopping!
