I bought a Birthday cake for my husband today..from the lucky in Pinole on Fitzgerald..my husband cut a piece and was about to eat and saw a hair ..he pull it out the cake...SMH! do better lucky...

The baggers bag your food like it’s garbage. I’m not sure if they train staff but when you spend $300 dollars for groceries, you don’t want it crammed into a bag, especially if they charge you for bags. My bread got smashed, my veggies got smashed, my meat was shoved into a bag like it was a bag of flour, and I am so mad about it, I’m rated this store with 1 star. Groceries are expensive enough, without a bagger mishandling it and smashing your strawberries and tomatoes.

I just moved here and have gone to Lucky's a few times because its in the neighborhood and have never had an issue. Well I went last night and the cashier made me so uncomfortable. I said "Hello," when I got to the register, and she didn't even attempt to say anything back, or even look at me, she just rang up my items and told me my total. When she went to hand me my receipt, she still wouldn't look at me and still hadn't said anything, but I still said "Thank You," to which once again she didn't respond, but before I had even moved out of the line for the next customer, she proceeded to start talking to the gentleman behind me. Such a weird experience and it honestly made me feel uncomfortable for numerous reasons. I've never had that happen in a grocery store before but think I will stick to Safeway from now on.
