Excellent patty melt and a colossal club sandwich, with the best home made chips I’ve ever tasted. We got a maple cupcake with bacon sprinkled on it for the ride home. Fantastic! Next time we’re out that way we will definitely stop by. I want to sample on of the fluffy biscuits I saw go by.

If you want to experience what real country cooking tastes like and you didn't have a grandma who cooked that way, then you need to eat here!

I had the grilled pork chops, mashed potatoes (made with butter), white gravy made from real skillet roux, green beans cooked with onions and bacon and some type of wonderful seasoning. I also ordered jalapeno fries.... damn those were good. They had a wonderful batter and seasoning.

My girlfriend had pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs, fried taters and a biscuit. She said everything was wonderful and she's a Foodie type.

All their bread is made fresh and onsite.

If you believe butter is a central ingredient to great home cooking you need to eat here. If not.... what the hell is wrong with you? You must have been dropped as a child.

The waiter was her husband and a funny ol' fart. He has a real sense of humor.

Prices were fair and portions are very plentiful. Listen to Pawpaw (waiter) when he warns you... Because he will. 😁

Eat here! It'll be the best decision of your trip or your day or both.

Cute diner with homemade everything. The bread and biscuits were fantastic. They added onions to the fried potatoes for me, and they were so delicious. My husband got a single stack, and it was a lot of food. We are both full and satisfied. Will stop again, they are so sweet.

We got there 5 minutes before close and they were happy to seat us and take our order. I had the best hamburger I have ever tasted! The cook was ornery as a country bumpkin and made us feel right at home. His wife was sweet as could be. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. They made our day!

My husband and I were very impressed with their food! They used homemade sour dough bread for their bread on the sandwiches and the hush-puppies were their own recipe and so delicious! We enjoyed the food very much! Very good serive and friendly atmosphere.

Good homemade fried chicken, mashed potatoes gravy and Mac and cheese. The chocolate gravy with the melted butter and biscuits were almost as good as mine! 😉 Good food and Fellowship. Awesome sweet tea, too.

Arrived in Heavener at 1:50pm on Saturday hungry and looking for a place to eat while on a motorcycle ride from Robbers Cave then on to The Talimena Pass. They closed at 2pm but were so kind and welcoming even though they were about to close. They were so sweet, polite, funny and not once did they rush us. We ordered, used the facilities and enjoyed the most amazing food and big portions! We are planning another motorcycle trip and we are definitely stopping to have lunch with them! I cannot wait, my mouth is watering just thinking about it!
