Cool & fun aesthetic-very cohesive & true to the Mad Hatter/Alice in Wonderland theme which feels experimental. Definitely elevating the typical kava joint, which is refreshing. I Normally stick to Fijian & Tongan Kava but tried their Solomon Gold & am liking it so I appreciate the variety & it tastes quality as well. Mandy & Surf, the Kava-tenders, have been great, friendly & personable, & awesome sense of humor, too! Come CK it out!

Mad Hatter is such an amazing coffee shop it is extremely relaxed. I have spent hours working on my project today and have made so much progress. These are truly laid back working vibes with a great play list. Surf made my day with some amazing drinks and explained the difference between the drinks.

This is hands down the yummiest, friendliest, most aesthetically pleasing kava bar I’ve ever been to. Cole and Surf are AMAZING mixologists who craft delicious beverages and offer lively conversation. We have been treated like family every time we come in and have never left disappointed. I can’t recommend this location enough.

Surf is an amazing bartender. Place has a great atmosphere and is very instagramable. Love drinks with natural ingredients and the drinks here are very good. I got the white queen of hearts. Will definitely be coming back.

We were very excited when we heard that Mad Hatter would be coming to Ahwatukee. We live so close that we walk here! It's beautiful inside, comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The staff have been amazing each time we come in. Surf is awesome 🙂

I love Mad Hatter Kava Bar! Every time I come in, Jace is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. He has a real knack for creating great drinks that are consistently top-notch. You can tell he puts a lot of care into each one, which really adds to the overall experience. The service is always top quality, and it’s clear that Jace and the team are dedicated to creating a welcoming, enjoyable vibe. If you’re looking for a place with amazing drinks and even better service, Mad Hatter Kava Bar is it!

I’ve gone a quite a few times since they opened this location and it never disappoints. I’ve been in during the morning, afternoon, and evening and the vibe is always great. Surf is my fav kavatender. He really knows his stuff and makes the best suggestions or even tried to create the flavor you are looking for. 10 out of-0 recommend for the great drinks, cool pop up events and great staff. You can’t go wrong especially when Surf is working

Very inviting atmosphere and spectacular staff (shout-out to Surf). Great place to have a Kava or Kratom drink, relax, and chat. The art around the place is awesome, and they even have a stage for live music.
