WOW!!! As a single dad to three little girls, I must say THANK YOU with all my heart. Glenda and her crew were phenomenal. Communication, punctual, knowledgeable, hard working, lots of options, made an exception to their alteration policy for us. They made my daughter and I feel REALLY special. It, truly, was a Magical Moment!!

This business is terribly discriminatory and seething with racism. I was simply looking for ball gown for my daughter and the two women working there refused to serve me. They told me they closed when they were clearly open. They told me they had no ball gowns and the store is full of them. They interrogated me and demanded my name and my daughters name and still ended up refusing me any service whatsoever. They are nothing like Christie's boutique who gave wonderful service and a pleasant atmosphere. I advise any and all non-white potential customers to proceed with caution when dealing with these type of people. Your money may not be good enough for them to act civil and professional. They are inherently biased and clearly want a white-only customer base.

This place is closed Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. So I chose to go on a Thursday and got there at 5:25 and they are supposed to close at 6. Well we walked in and they said they were closed for prom dress try ons and you will have to make an appointment to TRY ON A DRESS? Overall not a great experience just hope they could advise the times to come.

My visit here was not pleasant at all! I made a dress appointment for my daughter for the Father/Daughter dance. When I called, she asked the type of event and I told her along with the date. The event was 9 days away from my appointment date and the ONLY thing that she mentioned that could possibly be a problem was that if the dress needed alterations then we wouldn’t have enough time. I was fine with that because we would just find one that fit. Once we made it to our 2:30 dress appointment and signed in—I stated the name of the event again when asked—only to be told “we don’t rent for that type of event.” That’s something that should have been said on the phone initially and why does it matter what type of event if I want to patronize your establishment and rent from you? This is pretty ridiculous as this is a formal dress shop. I should be able to rent even if I want to sit in a dress in my living room and be pretty! I’m not one to do reviews but this was pretty absurd!!! I went to Classy Threads and was accommodated accordingly!

They had a prom dress that is on Ellie Wilde’s website listed as a prom dress and it’s in a lot of prom shops. Magical moments had the prom dress in their pageant dresses and wouldn’t let my daughter try it on because she was shopping for a prom dress. It was the dress she’s been trying to find her size in. I was very disappointed in the customer service on this matter. Customers should be able to buy a dress from either the prom or the pageant section or even have the option to rent from the pageant side even if they need it for prom!

This place is doing it right! We went to so many stores and this one by far had the best selection and friendliest staff. They truly went out of their way to make us feel special even on a very busy day for them! We will definitely shop here again in the future!
