The atmosphere is one of the things I like most about this place. It is in a historic building in downtown Silverton. The staircase in the coffee shop is really neat and leads to seating upstairs. The coffee was good. The barista was very knowledgeable and helpful with drink selections. I had a Lucky Charm Strawberry Shortcake latte as it was St. Patrick's day. It was delicious.

It took an hour and fifteen minutes to get our food, on a relatively quiet Saturday. Our server was virtually absent (it’s a small restaurant and he was nowhere to be seen for long periods of time). At the end of the meal we were told that their food delivery had been late and didn’t even arrive until we had been waiting for an hour (we arrived at noon, their delivery apparently arrived at one). Mind you, they did not tell us that they did not have the food on the premises. They let us sit and wait with a small child for an hour and fifteen minutes. In the end it took almost two hours to get out of the restaurant. Just waiting to get our bill, and get it paid, took twenty minutes. There were two other tables with couples in the entire restaurant. Definitely not busy. When we politely asked, we were denied any kind of compensation for such a bad experience. They said I’m sorry and charged full price regardless. DO NOT EAT HERE if you value your time. Our complaint was not taken seriously and they deliberately withheld information about the availability of the food we ordered.

Vegetarian friendly~Delicious grilled veggie sandwich and coffee! They also have a Beyond veggie burger on the menu. Super friendly service—I'll definitely come back if I'm in the area!

We absolutely love the Main Street Bistro! The food, staff, and atmosphere are top notch. We love all of their food but breakfast is our favorite, you have to try their gravy! They’re really great about special requests too. Make sure to get a mamosa, I like to have half pineapple and half OJ. Check out the pictures! YUM!

I came in all the way from oregon city and this was just about the only spot open in the area and i was in SUCH a hurry to eat and go. With that being said the SUPER fast serving time of my food did not compromise the quality. It was such a delicious hollandaise sauce made on the benedict. The server was absolutely wonderful and the atmosphere is even better. I visited this spot on a whim and in a rush and i was served beautifully. It did NOT disappoint. I will be going out of my way to try this spot again and definitely bringing some friends

This was the first time I've been at Main St. Bistro since the ownership changed ... and that was probably a year or more ago. Awkward. Anyway ... three friends and I had lunch there today and it was excellent: really nice atmosphere, I like what they've done with the decor, all four of us felt our food was great, and our server (Vanessa) was delightful. I and we will definitely return!

Found this bistro while searching for dinner one night. Very nice little place. The food was delicious. I had a wedge salad. My husband had the chili dog and we shared the grilled Turkey sandwich. They also have a cute little coffee shop as part of the bistro. It was closed when we went but want to go back to try it out! Staff was very nice!

The food was fantastic but it did take over 30 minutes to come once we ordered. They have the crispiest fries and very good ranch for dipping. All of our food was good but the wedge was exceptional. Mine didn’t come with dressing and I had to ask for it. The Benedict was cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend this little gem and will be coming back.
