I attended the annual Threshing Bee and toured the museum. Although I had first experienced this about 10 years ago, I couldn't believe the improvement in the museum displays! They are organized around many aspects of daily life of yesteryear. Even young students were impressed with the restored hotel exclaiming "I'd love to have stayed here!"

Outside, kids climbed on the old steam engine and explored an actual caboose.

This is a large historical complex that has something for everyone. It's truly an Oklahoma treasure!

This is my hometown. It's just fun for anybody! All types of things to look at, interact with & learn the history of this tiny town.
My favorite bit is the train my Great Great Grandfather built the railroad for! The train is still sitting on apart of its original tracks. You can explore the inside, even the conductors spot, & climb to the top of the train! (be careful, the top can get very hot & burn your skin)
And please make sure to do your part and keep the History Society clean! They've got plenty of dumpsters for your Sonic drinks & Lunchables <3
