Ordered four outlets here and came to pick up, the staff asked me to sign the receipt (4 outlets) which I did, I looked into the bag and it only has 3! Then I asked where is the missing one, staff asked another staff and found out that they only have 3 but still charge me the 4 outlets prices? Luckily I was still in the store and I have to talk to a more capable lady, and she was helpful and did the RIGHT thing, she cancelled my original order that has four and then charge me 3 outlets! Omg 😱

Ace/Menlo Park Hardware—whatever this place is called—is way larger than I expected. Tools, kitchen supplies, plants.. they’ve got a lot to offer. You can park on Santa Cruz Ave & there are many other interesting places within walking distance.

I was there with my friend and I, the store is very nice and comes in very handy. When we were ready to day, a worker lady was our cashier and she looked at us very weirdly with attitude. My friends grabbed an item just to look at it and the cashier told her to stop which was very rude and unpleasant.

The woman working the cash register has been intensely rude and unhelpful to everyone I have ever seen her interact with. I now drive out of my way to avoid this place . Go to Ace hardware in Palo Alto instead, where the people are kind.

For the last few years, I have noticed the new owners are typically grumpy and disinterested in helping. This rose to a whole new level this weekend and now I feel compelled to warn folks. At checkout, I witnessed the owners act in an aggressive and demeaning way to a senior customer who was confused and just needed kindness (and patience). It was so egregious I spoke up to defend the senior. It left me shocked and saddened to see how they responded. If you can at all help it, shop somewhere else.

Had all the stainless steel hardware I needed. I work until 5:30 & they are open till 7pm. Convenient when most hardware stores are closing by 6pm. Thanks for everything folks!

They are the best hardware store on the Peninsula. They have EVERYTHING!. Staff knowledgeable and help you find items. I found an office item, small compostable garbage bags( what if I found are hard to find. I had a large flashlight that wasn't working with new D batteries. He found a small LED light bulb and now it shines brightly. He also helped me find another reasonably priced LED flashlight. And an asst. of small nails. Very pleased with the service.
