After walking 5 miles in flip flops the day before I purchased my saddles from Middle Eart shoes I had bad blisters on the balls of my feet. In pain, and knowing i was going to walk an additional 4 miles I walked into The shoe store to see what I could find. Midgarth greeted me with a smile. After looking around at the selection I told Midgarth my story and he helped find good shoes (tools) that would help me get thru the day. The first pair he showed me were a little too small, but I guess I thought my show size was a 7 1/2 and now they are 8's. The second pair were perfect and immediately took the pressure off my feet I knew they were the ones. I bought them and as Midgarth slid them over to me he said, I know your going to walk miles in these, but I usually say, don't walk miles in your new shoes, because you could blister. Fair enough, I still wore them out of the store and walked 4 miles without pain! Thank you thankyou Midgarth for taking the time to listen to me and help me find a suitable solution to my problem. Your knowledgeable, kind, and made my day extra special, and pain free.

Walked in, was briefly greeted by someone who barely looked at me. Didn’t ask me what I was looking for or if I had any questions. He walked past me into the back without a word. Extremely dismissive. I came in specifically intending to purchase V-Italia boots but wasn’t sure which. After seeing the level of customer experience present, I’m no longer interested.

This store, or it's former version, were previously located in my neighborhood of Greenwood in Seattle. I was sorry when they left, but happy to find out the new location was in Ashland! I go to Ashland every year for OSF and every year my crew stops by and purchases a new pair or two. I love the selection at Middle Earth Shoes!
