I think a lot of people are understandably put off by some of the negative reviews here - I had my own doubts even after I decided to purchase. However, while things may have taken a bit longer than planned, it was absolutely worth it. Nowhere else are you able to get a custom cat tree that perfectly fits your style. Not to mention, you are buying something hand-made and supporting a small business (my personal ideals). I originally purchased with Molly and Friends because our blind kitty needed a tree design that would help him get up and down easily, and the Chimney Sweep is the best option we were able to find anywhere. We were able to get some limited, leftover white carpet (so crisp looking!) and opted for all the poles to be sisal-wrapped (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS OPTION!!!). He LOVES climbing up and down the poles and it's so fun to watch. We also have a Simple Sleeper in another room, so it's the perfect matching set.

As for customer service, I personally had a great experience. Remember to be kind to each other, we're all doing the best we can. I could tell Tom was stressed about the business and completing orders on time, but he worked hard to get us what we wanted and get it to us as quick as was possible for them. Asking for a refund is an inconvenience and waste of time for everyone; just be patient because it's a great cat tree!!

Worth every single penny - I'm done getting terrible "furniture" from big name pet stores. We will have this cat tree for the next decade at least!

The quality is absolutely amazing! Tom was able to add customizations to the cat tree and it was a game changer. He was able to add height and made it 6.5ft tall as well as add the house to it. Our cats adore it and we love it as well. We even had the ability to go to the business ourselves (due to us living a driving distance from it) and you can see the quality in the work they do. It is a very small business with a small number of employees so please be aware that it is not Amazon delivery times. You can trust Tom 100% and know that you are getting what you paid for. I do recommend making sure you follow up with Tom as he does get busy, but he always gets back to you. We will be ordering again!

I recently bought a beautiful blue and tan cat tree from Molly & Friends for my two kittens Noelle and Stubbs. I am beyond impressed with the quality and durability! The kittens started playing on it immediately and now it’s their favorite! Honestly, I have tried other brands of cat furniture but nothing really compares. Tim is helping us to make the perfect cat furniture pieces to match for the future. He has been extremely helpful and we look forward to working with him more! Thanks Tim!

Hands down the best cat furniture available. We own five Molly and Friends cat trees and have multiple competitors' units - there is literally NO comparison.

Regarding the business turmoil - the Covid shut down ruined many larger companies and I'm sure that Molly and Friends is still recovering. Regardless, we purchased our units directly from stock on hand at retailers - no problems whatsoever. And the one unit we purchased direct, we ordered it over the phone, drove to Gainesville, FL to pick up the finished unit and paid at that time. Again, no problem. If you've got the least bit of hesitancy, purchase from a retailer, or purchase direct and pay when you pick up the unit.

Again, this is genuinely the highest quality cat furniture and we wouldn't purchase anything else.

We custom-ordered a 3-tier cat tree, the Tunnel of Fun, and also a 2-tier cat tree, the Loft and Round, with additional sisal wrapping because we have 5 cats and they love scratching and climbing.

Tom with Molly and Friends was super-nice, and offered us an alternative carpet choice for the 2-tier cat tree when there was a delay with the original color we had chosen and made sure that we approved of the new color. And the finished results were exactly what we wanted-locally-made, sturdy, hand-crafted, and beautiful cat furniture.

Oh, and all 5 cats love them! Especially, the tunnel with the entry hole on each tower!

I purchased the Simple Sleeper from Molly & Friends over 10 years ago. My cats over the years have used it daily and treated it well; it was finally time for a new one. I searched online and couldn't find this brand so went with a different big name brand initially - and immediately had to return due to lack of quality/stability. Nothing beats Molly & Friends. Thankfully, when I looked up this company, I was shocked and surprised to learn that they are local to my area in Florida and I went in person to their workshop to purchase a new Simple Sleeper. Tom was super friendly, accommodating & helpful!! My kitties got just what they wanted! Please trust this company folks - they are a small, local workshop (not a big business or corporation); I stood in their workshop and they are recovering from post-pandemic slowdowns and building back up again. The quality cannot be beat!! Strong, stable, real wood, non-toxic materials, no plastic, and the carpet is top quality and no fraying. I am a customer for life.

I contacted Tom directly by phone on June 12… I sent him an e-check for over $950. Last time I spoke with him in July, he said it would be coming sometime in August. I’m beginning to feel this is a scam. I have ordered from him in the past with multi thousand dollar orders for my own house and it all came together. It was beautiful stuff, but perhaps those days are gone. I will reach out to the Better Business Bureau and see what I can do like some of the other Customers here. I wouldn’t post this if I had been able to talk to somebody there and get an answer other than it’s gonna be another month. I have his cell phone. I have work numbers I have emails. I’ve tried them all. This is my only recourse and I will happily update this review if I ever get the product because I never like doing this.

Really disappointing. We ordered cat trees in January. We Venmo’d Tom Grant in January - the products are still not received and after months of back and forth calls and false promises we requested a refund - it was never sent. Venmo can’t refund the charge and suggested we file a police report. Dealt with Tom Grant and he’s since stopped responding completely (last contact May), and the phone number he gave no longer works. The BBB reports reflect that this is not an accredited business and other customers have experienced the exact same thing…. We just want this resolved with a refund after 9 long months.
