I used to love this store before it was sold to the new owners a couple of years ago, since then the prices have doubled or tripled on just about everything. I went in the store to purchase a bag of chips and a pint of Ben & Jerry's and walked away with a $15 total. I will not shop here again you can get Ben and Jerry's for $5 at Walmart and I know they're getting it for around that same price in bulk, doubling your charges is complete theft to the community around you, pretty sad.

Cashiers rarely apply 2 for amount pricing. On average, Nelson's over charges us 50$+ per MONTH. I don't even want the money back, I want to stop being overcharged. I'm thinking it's time for an AUDIT and I'm making calls to do so. 🧐
Make sure and formulate a close amount to what you SHOULD be charged for before purchasing your products.

Owners don’t want to wear a mask that’s ok by me. If I’m worried about my catching a sickness from going out and about I don’t think I would be shopping at a local deli 7 times and then go complain about it like the other whiners leaving their reviews. They did however send me a $20 gift certificate for moving into town and bought 4 different dinner bowls and each em were hardy and delicious. Those who want to leave poor reviews about their mask policy should stay indoors, get all their healthy booze and cigarettes delivered, and get bent.

I love most of the staff, but there is one employee with a Sponge Bob tattoo who works during the evenings. She has been so rude from DAY ONE!! Either she's miserable in her life, or she hates me, or HATES her job!!. If I offended her in anyway, i apologize! If not, find another job!! But I'm done going there during the evenings. This isn't the only store in Scappoose!!

Great lunch specials! Great food! Great people! Love this place. Reminds me of growing up when there were still local family owned markets around. Super friendly and a great place to go for all your needs for beer, food, grocery, whatever you need!

Is it common practice to deny a 30 yo guy a beer because a blond chick came in earlier and looked at the same beer i decided to buy....guess i wont be going back to this place...also if the guy behind the counter was paying more attention to his customers than his phone, this place might do better....just sayin.

This place is amazing 👏 you guys have great food and a nice staff I love to come in after work and pick something up for a snack. Great place to eat and to stop by.
