I was grabbing a snack next door and decided to stop by. I had an inquiry regarding the price for a new watch battery and wanted to know if a pair of earrings I recently purchased were diamonds.

Considering my usual jeweler is across town and I was already there, I figured it would not be a big deal. I was quoted higher than I'm used to for the battery so figured I'd wait. He took my earring and I heard a diamond tester beep, when I told him I wasn't getting the battery, he gave me back my items and told me he didn't have a diamond tester...in a jewelry store.
