A shadow of its former self, the Oakwood Mall has seen better days. There's maybe 6 businesses that are still in the mall - centralized into a small area; the rest of the mall is blocked off by metal fences on the inside.

The military exhibit which is new is pretty cool to visit. Otherwise not much to this mall other than a sports store, discount furniture store and a kids play area.

If you ever want to walk through an abandoned mall that feels like it has been forgotten by the movement of time, this is the place to go.

I loved it. Nothing was open minus a Claire's and some flag shop..everything about the atmosphere was creepy and mystical!

Covid probably hit these guys hard, which is super unfortunate.. there were so interesting looking stores but of course they were long closed down.

Handicap accessible parking is readily available, but there are no electric handicap carts available within the mall. Since so many stores are empty, my visit was very short. There will need to be some very creative thinking to get the mall back to the place it once was, in my opinion. This is a mall truly in need of an infusion of renewal.
