Been going to Oates since the 70s I was probably Five or six when I would go straight to the ice cream for a frozen snow cone🍧, years would pass and it would be a trip to Oates to rent a movie🎬🍿 riding dirt bikes down to grab fuel (candy, sodas etc) loved when the Deli went in 🥪 and it is by far the Best place to grab a sandwich, chips and the occasional huge Dilled pickle🥒. You couldn’t ask for better Customer service😊. Remember to support your Locally owned businesses. I will continue supporting The Oates family 👍🏼

Lived in the main town area of Vacaville all my life and decided to try their deli since it gets a lot of hype. Instead I was greeted by a very rude deli employee that seemed annoyed and aggravated I was ordering 2 sandwiches at a time. I asked her if that was okay and she rolled her eyes saying "Yeah I guess so. What do you want?". I ordered my sandwiches with everything on it because I did not want to aggravate her more. Found out her name is Linda and she has been there 20 years. Not sure what the attitude problem is but I'm sure I'm not the first to have a bad experience with her. Linda will probably be happy to hear I won't be returning because of her. What a way to treat customers. If you're not happy then please leave. You ruin the experience.

Great Country Store. It's amazing the amount of grocery and store items they carry. The Deli is great with homemade potatoe salad, macaroni salad, deviled eggs, bagels with cream cheese, and the sandwiches are always amazing... Nice people ... Oh, you can also fill up your tank or put air in your tires at the Oate's Country Store. ♥️

One of the best sandwiches around! Linda is the absolute sweetest and has been making my "Serg" sandwich just the way I like it for year's now 🥰 They also have a great selection of drinks and jerky including some of the best slab jerky around!

A simple general store and gas station that's got a sandwich deli, plenty of drinks in the wall coolers, and so many fun snacks to take on a road trip. Don't be surprised if you see some people ride up on horses to get some grub; this place IS in the countryside.

Friendly and surprisingly affordable store. When 2 cans of soda and a half-pint of milk run you less than $4 it sticks in your memory. Good store for the multiple hundreds of RVers in the two parks across the freeway. Open early and affordable fuel prices with a big lot to turn your rig around in. Pinning this one on my map.
