The kids running the inside were nice she called the owner because I was going to buy a 150 complete board 🛹 but the grip tape was pilling off so instead of doing like any good shop and replacing the grip tape for free the owner wanted to charge me full price for the damaged board and half price on the replacement grip tape like greedy greedy. I've been going here for 2 times a year and I've bought 2 boards a year here for almost 20 years I could buy them off like cheaper but I liked this place and I wanted to show my support but the greed in a few dollars that's crap I'll never be back in my life time.

Such an awesome establishment! Could not believe how big it was once I got inside! They sell all the major beach brands! Totally blown away! From Yeti to free people, vans to reefs, billabong to pure vida! They’ve got it all! Very impressed with how helpful the staff was! Bryan, Brooke, and Tina (or Tera? 🤷🏻‍♀️) were all very helpful. I applaud this owner for not jacking up the prices on these brands, as most beach shops do. I know rent is higher and so it could be warranted but I’ll always support a company that stays fair to their customers and their brands pricing. 🙌🏻 I bought vans, a bathing suit, a dress, a hat, and a chapstick for under $150! (All brand named items) #impressed Located at Johns Pass, which I’ll also recommend for a great shopping and dining experience!

Awesome selection. Tons of cool stuff to go through. Fun shirts and hats. Will def be back again.
Also good spot to grab a
Shibumi shade or neso shade if you are beaching it up.
Lots of yeti insulated cups and good selection of sunglasses as well.

Great selection and pleasantries in person. Had an easy question regarding an exchange on a sale item of which the girl who I spoke with was contradicting herself so I asked her to clarify and she ended up hanging up on me. Called back to speak with a manager who ended up being the owner and he was just as ugly and unprofessional. I will never shop with them again and it's really unfortunate because they have a great location and selection. We are locals and will take our money elsewhere from now on including all our family and friends. Customer service goes a long way and they have none!

Nice shop with a good selection of sunglasses. Be aware there are no returns or exchanges on sunglasses. If looking for sunglasses you may want to head to sunglass hut where they have a 90 day return/exchange policy. Bought a pair of sunglasses that felt good in the store but now feel heavy on the nose, I called the store and pretty much got a "sorry about that, call the manufacturer" there goes $300.00

I live in Iowa and come down to Mad beach about twice a year. I hit up this shop each time I come. New product comes in all the time and the people that work there are always willing to help if you ask. I called the store and asked if I saw something online that was not listed on the website if I could have it shipped to me. The owner said it would be no problem and they do it all the time. I love this store and will be back time and time again.

I've been a Customer for years, Brian and his crew run the best surf shop in Mad Beach. I hope you find this hidden gem, and skip the chain stores.

My son was in a few days ago to by pads for his board. The sales person who sold them to him did not inform him he had to wait for at least a day before use. He immediately brought the board back in, as the pads were coming off, and while I had to go in and speak with the associate also, the shop did in fact give him new pads and gave him great advice on "what-if's" should any occur. What could have been an awful experience turned out to be a very good one and we wanted to say thank you for correcting and going above and beyond in light of the initial mistake.
