I want to brag on my friends at Pete Shirley Tire in Oneonta. I stopped by yesterday to get my tires rotated. Jason Shirley came in and told me "the back tires are needing to be changed." so I told him to go ahead and install 2 new ones. He came back a little later and said "The brake pads are paper thin." so I told him to go ahead and change those too. He joked that I'd probably like to choke him but I was just grateful that he found it before I had either a flat or rotors started grinding. The last set of brakes I had changed ran $600 so I was bracing for an $800-$1000 bill. When they finished and Pam tallied it up she said "It'll be $485." Before I even thought about what was coming out of my mouth I blurted out "That can't be right. It's too cheap. Did y'all charge me correctly?" They all looked at me like I was crazy (they'd be correct) and I handed over my card. I can't say enough good about this family-run business. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Thank you, guys.

They've always taken good care of me and my family. Last month, I rolled in having a problem with multiple tires near closing. They got me a full set allowing me to get home safely despite the last minute nature of the stop. This is a good, integrity driven business which is why, for what keeps me driving, I always choose them.

I am very pleased with my experience here. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful from my first call to them until I walked out of the door. Pam, the nice lady at the desk went out of her way to get my business. Thanks Pam! They were quick and efficient it only took them 30 minutes to have me back on the road. I was impressed!

This is a local family owned company, currently ran by the 2nd generation. Been in business about 60yrs. Wonderful family... wonderful business. You will definitely be pleased with their service.
