We came to Haines for a short stay and had a screw in our tire. As we were already using the spare tire and had to travel around 800 miles more to our final destination, we were looking for a repair shop which could help us. Our hotel suggested Peters Tire & Auto and after a short search on Google we were on our way.
The guys from Peters Tire & Auto were very friendly and repaired our tire immediately. After 20 minutes we had our tire ready to go for a very good price.

Traveling with camper trailer from out of state and needed a radiator hose and fitting changed on my 2014 Ram 2500 diesel. Peters Tire & Auto was recommended to me by another camper. I was able to obtain the part from local parts store. I dropped into Peters about 10:30 am on a Monday morning with part in hand and asked if they could install the new parts. They said no problem. They had a job to complete before they could get to me. Left truck and went 2 blocks back to the campground. An hour and a half later they called me and said the job was complete. Fantastic service and a great price, especially being an emergency repair. Highly recommend Peters Tire & Auto.

We had a flat headed north out of Haines and had to turn back. Despite being busy with other work Peter took the time to see if our tire was repairable, then gave advice on the best way to ship a replacement up from Juneau. The tire arrived before opening time the next morning and he went out of his way to help us get back on the road on time.
