Place was a disaster. Two kids inside working on a vehicle with about 2 gallons of oil spilled all over the floor. Neither were confident enough to look at my truck. Said a 3rd guy was a better mechanic and would be returning soon. I bailed.

$45 for an oil change. I was lucky this time, no waiting. I was able to get out in about 10 minutes. Really nice guys.

Did a great job on our oils changes. So we took our car there for a repair. Was told it needed a transmission rebuild. He said 2 day job. Got it back a month later. Lasted 2 days and broke down. Was told the torque converter went to pieces. Was told it would be rebuilt. Then told it was engine issue. Then was told they had to put a used engine in it. After 9 moths I picked it up on a tow dolly with the engine in pieces and took it to another mechanic. Never once did I get a call from them letting me know what was going on. Once in a while they would answer there phone when I called. I WOULD DEF NOT I REPEAT NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE for auto repair.

If I could give this place 0 stars I absolutely would. Never been until today and I’ll never go back thanks to the man named John. I pulled up and he sat there in a chair inside of the two empty bays until I opened my door to get out. Then he decided to get up and direct me in. He makes you feel dumb when pulling into the bay and you can’t do it right or fast enough for him. He’s gonna ask you what mileage is on your car but when you go to turn the key to see “DON’T TURN THE CAR ON!!” Then whilst in the middle of my oil change another car pulled up and the way he spoke to the gentleman about pulling in faster and turning the car off was absolutely unacceptable. 0/10 stars for me.

Highly recommend Philpots Automotive. We were broke down and they took the time at the end of the day to diagnose and fix our vehicle. Such kind, knowledgeable and caring folks. We felt well taken care of and were helped like family. 10/10

This guy stinks.
Had him work on my transmission, It took several months, took the car out and found out he didn't fix it correctly, had to bring it back.
Spent another several months sitting in his over stacked yard until I finally got it back.
I have since discovered that he did several things that were unprofessional as hell.
ie: I heard a "Clunk" when I accelerated. I thought it was in the suspension and had a number of parts replaced but the sound continued.
I finally decided that the rear engine mount might be bad. When I went to change the rear engine mount I found that one of the bolts was missing and another one was only finger tight.
Taking a car to this guy is a waste of A LOT of time, money, heartbreak, and blood pressure.

Stopped in for an oil change and was done in 10 minutes! This was my first time using Philpot's but it won't be my last. They complete the oil change while you wait in your car, which is super convenient when you have young children!! The technician (who I assume was the owner) was quick, knowledgeable, professional and nice. To top it off, he had a good sense of humor - which only makes the quick wait that much better! I'll be recommending this place to all my friends.

Not a better mechanic around! Jim, Heath and the guys are top notch! Most importantly, Jim is a man of his word. When he tells you something, you can count on it. Unfortunately that is a rare find these days. If your car is sick, go see them. You won’t be disappointed!!!!!
