I brought a huge bag of clothes! Had me waited for about a hr and as soon as I went I make a a purchase they then sent a text saying they can’t take my clothing because “it’s out of style” when I had Old Navy, Aeropostale etc and when I looked around I didn’t even see such name brands! So they waited until I spent money thinking I’d get it back just to say they can’t take my clothing! I’ll never go there again!

The Plato’s Closet in Madison is my preferred store to go to between here and the Huntsville location. I’ve sold more items to this store than the Huntsville location and I’ve had good finds at both but this location is larger which is nice because some of the isles at the Huntsville location are a little tight but overall I enjoy shopping at both.

I went to sell my clothes and I was shopping and payed infront of them they had already went through all my clothes and they left me leave than texted me that my clothes ready they told they couldn’t accept after I try to return the clothes I bought bc I wasn’t gonna get any money from the sell they told me no I couldn’t I hope no ones go there to spend money

I loved the experience as a whole but was very dissatisfied with how they didn't take many articles of clothing. We had name brand and new and washed clean clothes and shoes and there was some things on the shelves that were dirty and old looking. They missed out on not taking but 7 articles of clothing for a measly $22.50. The only highlight of my time spent there was finding a pair of Tommy Hilfiger boots that I've been searching for forever and they were the right size and only $20.

We called Plato’s closet twice to see what all we needed to do to bring clothes up there. And we even asked them do they have a limit of items or seasonal stuff we can bring and they replied no. Keep in mind we live an hour away. So we bring 3 bags of clothes and wait an hour for them to go through it. They text us that it is ready. We go up there and they tell us they are taking 5 items out of all those 3 bags and giving us $23 for them. And don’t event tell us what they took or anything. We had name brands like Nike, under armor, fabletics. Just saying you might want to fix your customer service to give better details. Gas is not cheap and we will not be doing that again
