We purchased a glider for our nursery from here and had a good experience! The owner and staff were helpful when picking a glider out and ordering. They also worked to get our glider in sooner if possible since we didn't realize order time could be so long and my due date was coming up. I called a few times to find out the status and communication was good. They called once the chair came in and pickup was easy!

Don’t come if you’re pregnant ?
I visited the store in the beginnings of my second trimester. There are not a lot of stores in the area that have baby items,clothing, mama items - especially furniture - that you can see and touch. So I was excited to stop by!
The store has a ton of wonderful nursery set ups and products and when I walked in I felt a little overwhelmed with how much was in there but was excited to look as this is our first and wanted to dream and plan the nursery a little bit!

I was the only one in the store and seemed “checked on” every few minutes. When I got to the front, I asked the staff about pricing for crib skirts and banister covers and the owner took me to the back to show me colors, fabrics, etc. When I said I would think on it and talk to my husband, she seemed a little peeved but was friendly as we walked back up to the front.
She started asking me questions about how far along I was and asked me questions about how I was birthing, who I was birthing with, etc. it felt like I was being drilled.
Eventually she asked me if I had picked out a pediatrician. When I said no, before I could say another word, she jumped in said, “Oh honey, you better find one now or you’ll be in trouble!” I said, “I’ll find one eventually. We just found out so there’s still time” She snapped back with a stern look on her face “no there’s not”. I said….. “yes there is. At least I think so”.
She then proceeded to tell me everything I should be doing and how if I didn’t do what she was suggesting I would be in a lot of trouble (talking to me like she’s my mom but I just met her) and unloads her daughter’s traumatic birth story on me while complaining about and at her grandchild who’s standing there listening to us and playing her iPad and interrupted her grandma to tell me the I look FAT.

She’s a kid. I get it and rolled with it but her grandma didn’t say a word. She just called her annoying.

At some point in the story, I stopped her, said I really had to go, and walked out.

This store has so much good stuff and potential for what it provides and its location. A great resource for mommas in the area.
But the customer experience I had makes me want to never go back or recommend to others unfortunately. Hope things change ❤️

To clarify - I NEVER take the time to write bad reviews. I just move on and don’t return somewhere but I felt I needed to share as I still think about this interaction whenever I drive by or when people mention this spot. It breaks my heart but it was a horrible experience in the early months into my pregnancy.
Awareness and sensitivity to your customers - especially in a place like this - seems like a given.

The furniture's quality is excellent; however, the customer service experience was unsatisfactory. The company's owner appears to prioritize her convenience over customer needs. For instance, when my husband and I purchased nursery furniture, we were informed of a backorder, which we understood. Approximately two months later, we were notified that the items had arrived at the store for collection. When we explained that we required additional help and a larger vehicle for transportation, the owner was unreasonably upset, rude, and unaccommodating, expressing dissatisfaction with our inability to transport the items in a single trip using our personal vehicle. Additionally, we have witnessed her displaying similar behavior towards other customers in the store. While the store offers high-quality items, the overall customer service leaves much to be desired.

Love this store! Not only is the selection of baby furniture and gifting items the largest, the Jellycat collectors' items offering the best in North Alabama, (in my opinion,) and the owner and associates helpful and welcoming, but the owner is kind and compassonate beyond her great in-store customer care.

Upon leaving the store, one evening, I realized my car wouldn't start. It was just before closing. I had a closeby friend for a ride, but had to leave my vehicle until my husband would arrive. The owner was helpful and even left storefront lighting on for the safety of my vehichle/belongings and so my husband could see to look it over. Genuinely kind and compassonate people will always have my business!

I searched everywhere from Nashville to Birmingham to find a store that I could test out carseats and strollers and was constantly disappointed. I got on TikTok and saw a video about Posh Mommy & baby too and was shocked to find out they were so close to us!!
When we went in we told Lisa all of our needs and wants in a stroller carseat combo and she showed us a few options and guided us to finding the perfect fit for our lifestyle! We are already obsessed with our cybex items and so ready to really test them out when baby gets here! I’m so thankful to have a local business that had many brands to test in store and also they carry all of the brands I love which makes it easier when I want to grab something new for baby! Another major plus is the carry swaddlini which isn’t a common brand carried!! Overall we LOVE this store and couldn’t recommend them enough!!

Worst customer experience in my life. I’ve never felt the need to write a review on a business but others should be warned. I called on Friday and notified them I would be picking up my son’s changing table topper and bed conversion kit on Saturday morning. I drove from Jasper, Al and arrived at 10am Saturday morning to pick the items up. As soon as I walked in the store and notified the woman I was there to pick up furniture, she had the WORST attitude towards me. She immediately wanted to know if I had brought someone with me to load the two light items in my vehicle. I told her no and that I didn’t mind loading it by myself and she replied with, “Well I mind! It’s raining!” and she didn’t want to get wet. As soon as she opened the bay door for me to get the furniture she proceeds to tell me she can’t reach the furniture. I told her I just drove from Jasper so that’s unacceptable and we have to get to it. Her attitude only escalated from this point and she made one off comments the entire time she’s accessing the furniture. I loaded it by myself and I will never purchase another item from this store. Do not waste your time giving these people your business because they are extremely rude and VERY unprofessional.

The older lady that works here really needs to work on customer service skills. I already knew what car seat I wanted but for spending 500+ on a car seat and to be talked to so rudely is unacceptable. She talked to me like I was a child and didn’t understand what I was doing. Definitely don’t recommend if you have time to just order the car seat online. Unfortunately I needed the car seat now so I couldn’t wait.

Went into the store and wanting the NUNA. I saw the CYBEX one when I went in. The lady working with me informed me she didn’t know much about this car seat and asked the older lady for help. She didn’t budge from her seat. Eventually the lady working with me was having trouble showing me the turn feature and the older lady got up to show me how it turned. I then asked for a weight for rear facing and she responded back rudely that I should wait until he is 2. Which I am fully aware of but I want to rear face longer she then got snobby and told me her grandson is 4 and doesn’t even weigh 50 pounds. Instead of just answering my question. She was no help and very rude. Will not be back.
