First local place I’ve found that sells unfrozen Australian Wagyu. Huge selection of steaks and the quality of everything is exceptional. Prices are consistent with other retailers for cuts and grades.

Went in there for the first time today after finding them on instagram. The staff was very welcoming when you entered the store and extremely friendly. I wound up purchasing a 1.75 pound bone in ribeye and it was AMAZING to say the least. I will definitely be back.

I have mixed emotions about having found this butcher shop. On the one hand, the service was top-notch, the selection and presentation was second to none, and the steak... oh my... that steak! I've been around the block when it comes to steak... from paid-by-employer steakhouses, to every DIY prep method under the sun (charcoal, gas, sous-vide, torch, hardwood, pellet, cast-iron, etc etc) with meats bought at every type of establishment imaginable and I have to say, the ribeye I purchased at Prime Butcher, which I kept simple with a cast-iron cook method, jumped to the top 5 list, maybe even 3, of best steaks I've ever had. Masterfully cut with zero sinew. Peak tenderness without delving into mushiness. Absolutely delicious. So, what's the downside? Well, it's not them, it's me. To be clear, I believe they are charging what their premier products and services are undeniably worth. The problem is "I" simply can't afford it on any kind of regular basis. 🙁 Hope to be back for Father's Day!

Prime Butcher Shoppe is a carnivore paradise! If you are a steak lover, this is the BEST place around for beef shopping. You can truly taste the difference in quality, even beating the steaks served in fine dining/high-end restaurants. This family-operated small business also has a vast selection of other meats, poultry, and fish. If you are seeking something different or want to impress dinner guests, try a meat torpedo! The store also features specialty goods, including spices, sauces, butters, and cheese. Be sure to check out the homemade desserts when they are available!

Love this place! Huge variety of the best cuts of meat as well as prepared foods, condiments, and Desserts. I love spinach pie and theirs it the best I have ever had. Prepared salads too. Great location and excellent service. A little pricey but worth it for the best you will find in the Bay Area.

Was in town for my daughter’s Regionals soccer tournament and was searching for some quality Steaks for several of us Soccer Dads. This place was absolutely Amazing starting from the service to the quality of meats provided. The Ribeyes, Filets, Waygu sausage, etc. was so good that we went back daily throughout our week. Pepe and his staff are extremely polite and knowledgeable. Would absolutely recommend this place and wish they were here in Louisiana!

Excellent choices and cuts, awesome market, great staff!! Purchased the Steak pinwheels, pizza and Prime NY 3pk.

They have a great selection of seasonings, which we tried a sample of for the first time tonight. We're buying the both seasonings next time in.

I have been buying from Pepe and Prime for a couple of years now. Pepe and his team are always there to provide amazing service and food. Whether it is a special cut of meat, spices, cheeses or just great advice you will be 100% pleased.
