Our kids always love stopping in at Purple Cow! They have fun and unique toys and activities for kids of all ages! The prices are a little on the high side but worth it to support a local shop that is well employed and maintained. It's on the small side, not a good place for wheelchairs or strollers but that has never stopped us.

******update Aug 12th Monday ******
Best Toy store and Best customer service ever in my life I was surprised to find that they sent us my youngest daughter’s star pillow we were so appreciated by purple cow toy owner and team members how thoughtful they are. When we back to Astoria 100% we would love to visit them again Thank you 🙏 you guys saved my life .

Crews are kind and generous. Fun toys they have. But my 3 years old daughter left her star pillow toy in store 🤦‍♀️we live in Vancouver WA. When we figure it out to late but She bought a rainbow umbrella. I hope she forgets about it. 🤣

Some of these toys were a blast from the past ! I am almost 34 years old (2024) and I was like the kid excited about the store . Some of the items she had were “testers “ so you were able to feel or play with certain toys .. some items were outside packaging so you can see size .. it’s an amazing store !!

I really enjoyed this little toy store. The woman who (I assumed owned the store) was very lovely and a joy to talk to. The abundance of games inside was amazing! I got an old fashioned candy land board game and it was only $15. Everything is fairly priced inside, and there’s a toy for everyone any age. If you come to Astoria, go here!

Very unfriendly owner.... She might want to rethink owning a toy store.
The young woman who checked us out was kind but the older lady (I'm assuming the owner?) was rude and curt.
My very well behaved toddler was playing with the train table (which they set up for PLAY) for maybe 5-10 minutes by themselves so we thought "oh might as well buy something since we used their stuff". As we went to check out my husband asked about a bathroom to change our toddler who had soiled their diaper. And the lady was rude, instead of simple being like unfortunately we don't but try this place or whatever. She instead said NO, go across the street. Kindness and empathy for a child who just needs to be changed would have gone a lot further. I will absolutely never be back and will make sure others I know don't either. An owner like that doesn't deserve business.
