Rad Power Bikes - Imperial Beach

I can’t recommend Rad Power Bikes in Imperial Beach enough, especially thanks to their rad mechanic, Andrew. From the moment I arrived, Andrew was most helpful. He carefully listened as I explained the issues I was having with my bike. No sooner had I left when my phone rang. It was Andrew telling me that the bike was good to go.

Same day turnaround.

Not only did he fix my bike efficiently, but he also helped me get it in and out of my car, which was a huge help. In general, I’ve found the rad team to have great problem solving skills and knowledge of their products.

If you’re looking for top-notch service, this is the place to go. Thank you, Andrew and the RAD team, for your patience and professionalism!

I had a great experience exploring the store today with my SO. I’ve been checking the bikes out online for many months and it was a game changer to have access to them in person. It’s one thing to read a review and see photos online, but it’s much more helpful (to me at least) to touch and experience the items in the real world. The accessory wall in particular was great for getting a better handle on the customizability options of the bikes, something I’d struggled with a little bit online.

(Side note: I wish there was an online configuration where you could add or remove accessories to your bike to see how it would look and the cost)

There was also a test ride area set up which was so fun. The location of the store is pretty far south but is helpfully located right on a paved bike path that goes around San Diego Bay. Frank helped us out and was great, very patient with our (many many!) questions. The ride itself was a blast and really made us want to get the bike more than reading stuff online did.

Inside the store was great too. The map of San Diego trails and bike paths was a great idea and really shows how easy it is to get around without a car. Tyler took us through the showroom and was not just knowledgeable but also a joy to chat with.

Overall a fun experience. We learned a lot and will definitely be ordering soon, just need to work out a budget and get the funds together. I think our kids are gonna love the rad wagon.

Friendly folks in the sales dept and the service dept. My 2018 RAD MINI ST needs a broken spoke repair on the rear/drive wheel, and I'm thrilled to have discovered that Rad is so close to San Diego. Great location, a full service and sales facility in Imperial beach, near lots of cool riding spots in the immediate area.
Love the ability to test ride the different models and they also have accessories, and swag.

In today's dollar centric world, many businesses do not prioritize customer service. My experience at Rad Power Bikes in Imperial Beach proved to be an exception to the rule. I had an incredible customer service experience from start to finish. Thomas Bosch is a really good dude and applies his goodness and authenticity as a top tier salesman and manager. He guided me over the phone before I came in with my family and continued his exceptional service when we got to the store. I was able to observe the team of employees that Tom manages, and they all appeared to be happy and driven to satisfy each customer. I highly recommend Rad Power Bikes in Imperial Beach.
