Usually don't shop at Ralph's, but I needed to use a Wells Fargo ATM, which they have in-store, and my mom needed a couple things, so we went here. Ralph's prices have always been on the higher side, which is why I'd never willingly shop there. Store was clean. Their selection was ok. I find it bizarre, awkward, and unnecessary, that an entire like 1/4 of the store is cordoned off, where you have to pay for the items inside there, like at Walmart. The worst part about my visit though is that they have a clearance section, right. They had a couple carts full of discounted items. As you'll see in my picture, on 12-13-24 they had a pack of RAW CHICKEN just sitting inside the cart! 🤯 I'm sure whoever bought and ate that is STILL stuck on the toilet. Yes it's entirely possibly that a customer got that chicken from another part of the store and then stuck it in with the clearance stuff, but when I poked the chicken to try to see how long it had been there, it wasn't very cold, leading me to believe it had been there for at least a few hours. That puts the responsibility back on the store. They should be checking for stuff like this throughout the store more often.

Taix is one of my favorite restaurants in town. Order the bottomless soup du jour and salad. Soups change daily and all are delicious. Soup and salad could be your entire meal and is reasonably priced. Special on entrees daily. Have dinner in the bar for a more festive atmosphere.

For years this store has been the same. In a good way. You can always count on them. They are open when most are closed. They won’t haggle you. Good service and decent prices. What else do you want?

Today I wanted to get egg from this place and they increase their prices to double which is unbelievable.
Dozen eggs starts from nine dollars to up at Ralph’s! Then I went to Trader Joe’s and got a pasteurized brown eggs there for four dollar .
I don’t feel comfortable to buy from Ralphs anymore.

Fried and baked chicken is terrible usually over cooked dry infused with water no juiciness
Granulated terrible tasting fried skin and tough no concern here for the clients servers in deli are often disturbed angry nasty. Natural juices off chicken are taken out water instead put in for horrible water taste and meat become very tough overall demeaning experience plus I’ve noticed the cooking oil is rancid at times the Ventura topanga Ralph’s is the exact same often
The Kroger brand is poor I’ve noticed brown decayed canned veggies and deteriorated deli meats near or past expiration and deli bulk cheeses not too tasty. Overall I think the food industry is collapsing even traders and Aldi are begining to degrade their foods

They had some unprofessional man standing at the exit, in street clothes, speaking obscenely to customers, harassing the ones he decided we're"stealing" and was so ride I didn't even buy anything

Wouldn’t sell my 63-year-old dad beer because he had an out-of-state ID. That’s just ridiculous. Anyone who would estimate him under 21 really should get their eyes checked.

As a store in general, it is good. Customer service is hard to reach but possibly 😅
