Really nice, quiet and peaceful campground. Our site was spacious. We backed right onto an amazing river view where we were able to see the river. The kids loved to see the huge ships come buy. The park has a nice country store at the entrance and the staff is very very nice. It is far away from the chaos of the city of Portland, but close enough to go there everyday and explore.

Absolutely love this Rv Park! It is an actual campground for once! Big spaces, TREES! Water! Showers and bathrooms. Wildlife galore, birds, seals, eagles and more. Has a great little small store with just the right mix of products to get you thru the night without having to leave! 5g Verizon service, on the River and private trail! Gated secure at night. Great other surprises await!

Love it here. The campground is nestled in the trees on the columbia river, off the main road and very very quiet.

All spots have full hookups, and vary in price depending if you want riverfront, or something a bit nestled away from the water.

I can sit all day and watch massive boats go by with my binoculars, and i never gets old.

The campground is just outside of Portland proper but still in the county, even so, cell service can be spotty here depending on where you're parked.

Great place to camp! We were pleasantly surprised when we backed into our campsite with an amazing view of the Columbia River. You can walk along the beach and watch the boats go by from your camp.

The store is a bit pricey but convenient when you need a bundle of wood or some snacks and the cashier is friendly and helpful!

Also, it's close to some you-pick farms! Had a great time picking fresh fruit and veg!

This is a great park! Big roomie SITES and the river sites are spectacular. Perfect for relaxing and reading and watching the big ships go by. On Saturday it was like a parade on the river with boats going in both directions. Giant ones and small sailboats and Kayaks! I really enjoyed my stay! Will definitely come back. And finally, the staff was really great. Seems like they went above and beyond to accommodate. The maintenance guy asked me if I needed anything to get set up!

A good spot to stay if you want to be near Portland but not IN Portland.
felt very safe. Clean washrooms and showers. Very scenic river and beach nearby with private access although it’s not safe to swim there.
The RV sites are close together with no privacy or trees but it does the job if you’re stopping over on your trip. Would return and hopefully get a river facing lot (if I booked more in advance) as those were much more scenic

Arrived to the RV park after hours, gate was closed. We promptly were greeted and given a map and made it to our site -right off the bat a lot of mosquitoes, but if you have bug spray, you’ll be good. It was very quiet, peaceful . the beach was lovely to walk on, took a swim in the river, and noticed the cleanliness of the park. It definitely has an old-fashioned feel, big trees, lots of shade I would visit again.

The only good thing about this place is the view of the ships on the Columbia River in front of your RV. The water source that runs to your faucets smells absolutely atrocious like the bottom of the river and kind of like metal. If you have any respiratory issues whatsoever this sauvie island is not for you because it is total farmland.
Their junk is on display.
You would think they could part with a few hundred dollars and get free-standing solar lamps to light the pitch black Park except for a couple of lights they have on one end. You cannot walk your pet safely in the pitch black. Just our opinion.
It would have been nice if they had let you know that there's absolutely no shopping for any food anywhere close by for miles and miles. But they do offer you their convenience store which I'm sure people give in to do solely to the distance to civilization.
