Now there's a return and exchange window on their increasingly cheaper, more shoddily produced products. Time to fine another place to shop for work boots and outdoors equipment. Can't trust the quality. Can't trust REI.

I came in thinking I knew what I wanted....I was greeted by two nice ladies that asked what I was looking for, to which I replied, Water "filter" , well i was not really as "Educated" as I thought on what I wanted , big differences from what I had researched and what I ended up buying !

Laura took her time explaining the differences between a filter and a purifier, always attentive and asking pertinent questions, like, are "you going to a third world country " ... which was a yes ! Then she guided us to a purifier that would also eliminate viruses ! Her knowledge about this subject was truly refreshing, how many times we have wished we could get "knowledgeable help" when we are shopping ?

She also guided my wife on her backpack hunt and did an excellent job there also....she already has a 40L Osprey and wanted the Day Pack, which she took the time to show her how to.properly attached.

To end I got some hiking shoes and the young lady helping me there was also exceptional, I tried the shoes I wanted and the order for my colors was place at the front with again a super nice cashier !

Overall this team in Huntsville is full of Outstanding Members that are glad to help..... Outstanding Experience !!!

This outdoor and clothing store has everything you need and more. I found the trail running shoes I wanted in minutes, and the staff was super helpful and prompt with finding the right size. Very clean, organized, and enjoyable to walk through

My wife and I had a fantastic experience buying bikes at REI, thanks to the incredible support from Linda, Cole, Chris, and Jeremy. They were not only knowledgeable but also exceptionally helpful throughout our visit. They adjusted our seats to the perfect positions and swiftly resolved a rotary issue with one of the bikes we purchased. Their expertise and customer service really enhanced our experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at REI and appreciated the dedication and enthusiasm of the team.

I wish the store was organized by item rather than brand, but the sales associate I spoke to was very knowledgeable and experienced with the product she was selling. And even though I have a disability, she spoke directly to me rather than my able-bodied husband, not making the assumption that I wouldn’t be, doing outdoor sports like hiking and camping simply because I am blind. The store even has braille and gift cards. The checkout process, price tags, and overall layout isn’t the most accessible in the world, but they get points for even trying.

Atlas did a phenomenal job finding my whole family the right gear for our upcoming trip! She spent over 2 hours with us and answered all of our questions. She took time to be sure our packs were properly fitted for us and our children, got us the right sleeping bags, and helped us pick out some other things that will make our trip successful. She made sure we knew all the features and how to use everything before making a decision. When we were ready to check out she organized our purchases to take advantage of our membership discounts and coupons. The store selection was great. We did order one pack online so we could get a different color. Atlas handled that for us as well. GIVE THIS GIRL A RAISE! Great experience at REI. We'll be back.

This place is awesome!! I bring my bike there all the time and Mr. Cole the bike shop manager is the most helpful person ever!! Everyone in the bike department is great though as well! Huge shout out to him!! Thank you Cole!!!
