I question the knowledge of good vintage and knowing about the different, eclectic styles for others. I have spent a great deal of money in there recently. Honestly, I think I bought all of the things that fell within my needs though. Left the store not spending all my credit. The employee with the long pink braid extensions doesn’t seem to understand vintage and passes on things that make sense for the market. I went back into the store after I saw she forgot to take a skirt that belonged to a vintage, leopard fur collared black jacket she accepted. However, I told her the cute, black, pencil skirt was part of the set and said she could have it. She said she didn’t know it was a set (even though they were folded ever so neatly together and share the same tags) She also stated, “ I don’t want it, we won’t sell it as a set.” Really? I’m offering it to you for free and it’s part of a set; how does one split up a vintage set? Price it just for the jacket then, if you will, and let the buyer decide. Maybe she wanted it for herself, who knows. But the skirt was a freebie I was kind enough to throw it in for the sake of all vintage sets out there. I used to operate a vintage clothing store and I get it. I don’t think this girl has a clue. She’s accepted my items twice, but there won’t be a third. On the other hand, the girl that accepted my items last Tuesday rocked. She seemed to know what to look for. Brown, mid shoulder length hair, I think with a splash of color in the front? Sorry, if I knew your name I’d give you proper kudos. I loved Revolve in Ybor, but as long as some of the sub-par service continues I don’t think I need to drive to St. Pete to spend my money. I’ll take my leftover bag of perfect condition men’s, women’s Levi’s jeans and shorts, and true, vintage, etc. elsewhere. You can have my ugly, beige, flowered Sonoma shorts from Kohls that I still see hanging on the rack. 😝

On another note, I had my eleven year old with me today, and there was a mom with her small child in the store. Tone down the F-bombs when kids are around. It’s very unprofessional as it is but gross around kids. Moms with kids like to spend money too!

Brought in about 8 pair of dress pants -- neatly folded, placed in their basket. Picked up today. None were accepted, which is fine,
but wasnt expecting them to be rolled in a ball. Very disrespectful. Unfriendly, indifferent employees behind the counter. Wont be back - wont recommend.

Funny story: I came in here yesterday to kill time while waiting for the rest of my dinner guests to arrive at the nearby Outback. I'd acquired four or five items to try on in the fitting room.

None of them worked out. I placed them on the go-backs rack and then picked up these incredible pants. They have changed my life.

I'm giving Revolve three stars because most of the prices are just ridiculous, especially considering the wear on some of the clothes. The customer service was also lacking and left quite a bit to be desired. I find that this shop isn't really size-inclusive either.

If you want to shop secondhand, there are far better places that will provide a better experience in the area.

However, on occasion you may come across a few items that are great finds but it's rare.

Giving 3 stars (more like 2.5) because I have found some great items here, but everything else leaves much to be desired. Employees are pretty indifferent to customers, they accept a lot of cheap items (Old Navy, Target, etc) but turned away one of my high end dresses ($160 retail value) so I’m curious if they know what they’re doing with trade-ins. And I just tried to go in at 11:10 when they open at 11 and the doors were locked. I still like to pop in every so often but the overall experience could be greatly improved here.

Young staff and a nice selection overall. Not much for men but at least something. The prices on some items were inconsistent. I like the punchcard discount that we got and an excuse to go back as I stay around the corner. My complaint and removal of stars comes from the amount of dust that existed in the store. Very apparent that they don’t vacuum consistently, as I would expect from a clothing retailer. I would return but would like to see some improvement.

I was pleasantly surprised at the many unique finds here that were also priced reasonably. Haven't been to a Revolve since their old location in Ybor City, and at this location I felt the quality of most of the items were higher quality. Not your Mama's average thrift store - you aren't likely to find pieces if you don't already have a distinct fashion sense.

I’m the owner of a boutique thrift exchange in Sarasota. I never know what to expect when I’m going into another store in my trade, but this experience was, well.. not very pleasant. First of all, I walked a couple of miles to get there, which is cool... I love checking out new neighborhoods. When I asked if they had a restroom, the girl on the counter couldn’t have given less of a . If you’re gonna cater (mostly to women) and you have a restroom, it’s simple courtesy to let your customers use it. I understand that it’s not a “public“ restroom and that you have to control your traffic flow… but personally, I can’t shop when I have to pee. She just told me - rudely- that I could go down the street to Panera. I’m not sure who the owner is or who needs to read this? But your help has a giant attitude. I ended up dropping 60 bucks anyway, but I probably would’ve spent three or four times that amount if I didn’t feel like my business was so unwanted. Try to remember that a lot of people are scraping money together to buy gasoline, so buying a pair of $50 pair of thrifted jeans is a luxury. And when you’re shopping for a luxury, you should be treated with a modicum of courtesy. Owner to owner, if my help acted that way? they wouldn’t have a job tomorrow. Stuff is nicely displayed and merchandised, but the selection is narrow.
