For one thing, the location is near the airport and the flight instructors apparently have the students fly around and around and around and the noise is rather annoying.
Then, when we checked in for camping, somehow we were upgraded to a pull through spot for$95 (even though two days earlier, I booked the $80 site). They didn’t tell me about the higher price till I questioned the total . I told them that I had booked and confirmed an $80 site and didn’t want the upgrade they credited me back the extra $15 per night. Next, we headed to our campsite with our truck and 20ft trailer. The sight was so tight that between the truck on the next site and the tree on ours, we couldn’t get in. Finally, we got assigned to a different site.
Saw the cable hook up and assumed that for $80 a night, we had cable. After spending 45 minutes trying to hook up, scan, try again, I called and they said that the cable hookups don’t work.
We camped here long enough to check out the place wondering if we would like to come back long term. We walked around and saw plenty of nice sites that were open…. Only to realize that they had put us in one of the crappiest ones. This made a very bad impression on us. If I was the owner, I would have given out one of the nicer sites hoping that I could make a GOOD impression to have people come back.
After talking with some of the campers, we found out that the previous owner had passed away and since then there has been a BIG increase in the number of vacancies here.
Bottom line is bad noisy, location, too expensive for what you get and make sure you check your invoice.

Great RV parks with roomy, full hook up sites. Quick check in and a good camp store. There is also a small restraunt on site. This park is a favorite of snow birds escaping the winter cold. Our site was a premium pull through buddy site with a fire place.

We enjoy staying with Road Runner on our trips to and from The Keys. They have one bedroom cabins that are clean and neat and convenient to the pool and restaurant. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The grounds are gated, so we feel secure in our stays.

This RV Park was perfect for our visit to friends in Vero Beach. The welcome was warm and the neighbors (especially the large group from Quebec) were friendly.

I have been camping in Florida and Georgia since 2011 and Road Runner is in my top two campgrounds. The staff is wonderful and the property is kept looking nice. The landscapers do a great job on the lawn and mow once a week. They have a fenced dog park with water. The restaurant service has breakfast, lunch and dinner with specials and entertainment on Friday night. The food is good and the prices are fair. I would recommend Road Runner to a friend.

Road Runner Travel Resort, has it all! Beautiful park, camping sites for any size RV, villas, cabins, full service, store, restaurant, propane, and minutes away from beach, bars, restaurants and grocery stores! What more can a person ask for! Plus, the owners and staff are absolutely the best!

We sold our house in West Palm Beach and relocated to Vero Beach for work, choosing to stay in our RV at this park while awaiting our new home to be built. Initially, we were excited, but the management at this park turned out to be a nightmare.||||Despite the reasonable and straightforward rules, we faced constant harassment. We have two dogs that we walk multiple times a day. There are no trash cans or doggy bags on the property except in the dog park, so we took the initiative to buy an outdoor trash can and a bulk supply of dog waste bags to ensure we cleaned up after our pets. Yet, we received weekly notices accusing us of not cleaning up after our dogs. Each time I went to the main office to discuss these notices, I was told to ā€œjust ignore itā€ as it was likely a ā€œpesty neighbor.ā€||||Additionally, when family visited us for the day and parked at our RV slot, we received notices about parking violations. After discussing this with the office, we were advised to have our visitors park in the lot by the restaurant, which we did. Despite this, we continued to receive notices for various infractions, such as improper water hookup and not stopping completely in the neighborhood. This felt like borderline harassment.||||As responsible adults who strive to follow regulations, we were perplexed and frustrated by these continuous and unfounded accusations. Each time we sought clarification from the office, they dismissed our concerns, blaming "nosey neighbors" and suggesting neighborly disputes were at play. Ultimately, we were given a 30-day notice to vacate the property.||||This experience is particularly disappointing because we had suggested this park for our upcoming family reunion, which would have brought 47 rentals for a week. Now, I can't wait to leave this place.||||For anyone considering a short-term stay, this park may suffice. However, I strongly advise against bringing pets unless you want to be harassed and falsely accused. For those seeking a long-term rental, avoid this park at all costs, as you will face weekly harassment.||||Furthermore, we had several packages confirmed as delivered to the ā€œreceptionist/front desk,ā€ which mysteriously went missing, apparently mishandled by the staff.||||Our initial excitement to be part of the Road Runner community has completely dissipated. I am eager to leave and will never return. I do not recommend this park and will be warning others. 0/10.
