I try to avoid big box stores and support small businesses. This is the 3rd attempt in a row to purchase items for small projects using basic hardware items. For some reason they can not stock even simple products that a homeowner may need.
I don't want to waste my limited time going to this store anymore only to have to drive out of my way to find other items they should have in stock. In the long run it will be better for me to drive further and avoid the aggregation.

I purchased a toilet and when drove around to have it loaded a guy told me he (can’t) load it and to come back later. As a customer i was there now not later. It was raining and he didn’t want to raise door to get what i paid for. He said customer door windows get wet. But they were NOT there to pick up but i was. So i went bank up front and said either get my toilet loaded or give me refund.
So they lost a customer because of ignorance. The customer is always right is first rule especially after having paid for it. If didn’t want to load it in rain then they should not have sold it to me at that point. But they did and were wrong for not doing so. Customer satisfaction at its worst over a young guy’s ignorance in public business world.
I too, had my own emergency going on at the time but i didn’t matter. So i will never be bank in that store and will always refer people elsewhere. They don’t even deserve 1 star.

The Gentlemen and women here are hard working, diligent and are always willing to assist when needed especially to my late father and all of my military veteran friends. One gentleman who is prior service had a detailed conversation one day with me about a Trangia alcohol stove that my best friend got me on my birthday. My apologies I had to cut the conversation short though. We were very busy that day working making families lives better. Thank yall for your services. I appreciate you looking out for a local veteran. Also your hat collection always makes my day.

Russell do it Center is a great mid sized hardware store. They still feel like a mom and pop store yet they carry a little bit if everything you may need daily for your hardware needs.

Don't buy anything from here if ever plan on returning it. Once they get your money, they don't want to give it back, even with the original receipt, and everything in pristine condition. Front end clerk even lied about there not being a manager there, when in fact there was. I will take my business elsewhere. So much for supporting local businesses when all they care about it taking your hard-earned money.

The reply below does not absolve the fact that your clerk LIED to my face about there not being a manager on duty.
Also, is this so called ‘policy’ posted in clear view where anyone can see it?
Everywhere else on the planet I can return something without the credit card, except your establishment.
