This place was great, I can definitely see there's a reason for their 5 star rating. I came on a trip to Bishop from LA to do the sabrina lake basin trail, had a massive shoe issue that I tried to Jerry rig a solution to, wasn't working great for me.

I happen to notice S2S and the fact that their advertising shows Topo shoes, conveniently what I hike in. And what's more, their website says they have size 12.5? Nobody stocks 12.5. No one. I always have to order online. I call to confirm, they've got em.

I didn't even try to order new shoes bc it was impossible for me to get them in time for the trip, but Sage to Summit was there with the shoes waiting for me. I wore them up the sabrina lake trail to blue lake. Man that elevation is brutal coming from LA at sea level lol. Insanely beautiful though, totally worth it

Ordered some climbing gear (Tension block) from Sage to Summit last week and it was delivered even earlier than expected. Price was fair and shipping was slightly cheaper than the competition. The item came nicely packed, with directions, some stickers, and a handwritten note from Sage to Summit with a little advice on keeping healthy while using the gear! POC MADE TO NOT FEEL WELCOMED. If you’re a person of color don’t even bother to stop by. Literally just had the worst most awkward uncomfortable experience at this store. It’s very apparent they don’t get many colored people as I am a Mexican female. I was pretty much followed around the store as if I was going to steal some thing. A worker was pretending to fix shirts around me every section I went to check out. Might I add there was only one guy working with a customer I greeted him and he went to the back and two more other female coworkers came out one standing right by the door which was super uncomfortable because it was insinuating that I was going to do some thing. I’m 29 years old, own my own art company and have 3 degrees I do not need to steal anything. I’m well aware this was highly based off the color of my skin. I even tried starting a conversation with the female and told her I was really stoked to find the store because my dogs name Sage.
