Big thanks to Salty Dog Marina! After having a minor issue arise with the ski boat, we stopped by to see if they had what we needed to fix it. They were over the top helpful and provided the adhesive glue & tape from some they had. They didn't charge us, letting us use their open tube, and sent us on our way all fixed up! So thankful for their cutomer service and helping us get back on our way!

It's nice to see a business that cares and isn't all about making an extra penny!

We will definitely use them again in the future!!!

First, we are real customers, and this is a real review!

We've had a wonderful experience working with Salty Dog Marina for the purchase of our South Bay Pontoon. Brent, Clint, and the rest of the guys go above and beyond to make sure you're happy, even after the sale. Before you buy a pontoon anywhere else, please do yourself a favor and check with Brent or Clint first - these South Bay and Crest boats are a fantastic deal. They have a really cool business model that lets buyers get a late-model boat with full factory warranty for a great price. Tell them I sent you!

Online reservation was a piece of cake. The boat was is perfect shape. Jim reviewed everything thoroughly and made sure we understood before setting out for a fantastic day on the water. The location provided a great extent of sightseeing, including watching dolphins play and a manatee cruise by 10 feet away. What a beautiful memory for my daughter and her friend.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! My mom and I rented a boat for 4 hours for $440 thinking we were booking with a reliable and quality company. We were far from wrong. We aren’t from the area but quickly found out a storm had passed through when debris was scattered around the lake. We avoided all the ones we could see but of course there are logs hiding under the surface. Salty Dog charged us $100 for scratches on the props from the logs. When explaining that they shouldn’t send boats out in those conditions they simply stated that’s the risk you take. Complete scam.

Today we rented a ski barge from Salty Dog. They were so awesome! Christian assisted us today and was so kind and attentive to one in our party that had mobility issues due to an illness. He was so kind and compassionate and took extra steps to make sure that access was not an issue. Thanks Christian for treating him like the special person he is! Salty Dog is highly recommended!

Read before renting a boat from here!

First off, there is no anchor on the boat. Kind of ridiculous, especially if you have a full day rental. Secondly, there is no depth finder. That can be in issue if you're not familiar with Lake Hamilton. Also, no matter what happens during your rental, be prepared for them to charge you for every little issue on the boat. They use cheap props that are thin and will chip easily, even if you don't hit anything.

I learned my lesson and will NEVER rent from these guys again.
