Dropped in on a Sat for a late lunch. Place was quiet, the service, food and the vibe was upbeat. Excellent country tunes! Neice had the kids burger and fries which was an adult size burger, okay an adult with a modest appetite. Fries were excellent too! They serve breakfast all day. I had biscuits and gravy with an added egg. Super satisfying, took half home. It was perfect! We always get strawberry lemonade and it did not disappoint if you love it sweet too. We plan to come back!

First time visit, pleasantly surprised
I recently visited the Sandy Family Restaurant for the first time. Initially, I was concerned because there were no customers in the dining area; everyone was in the bar. However, we decided to give it a try and were pleasantly surprised. The food was basic but fresh and tasty. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

Such a welcoming atmosphere, I was lucky enough to see this place after traveling with a friend for a concert at a pub and wound up landing here when my friend's aunt was hosting a party, very fun and spacious atmosphere, staff are very friendly and helpful. I'm not from the area and although wasn't planning on dropping in at first I'm glad we left the venue we were at and ended up here. Wonderful food, lovely classic country music was playing and a big outdoor area to get away from the party goers having too much fun haha great spot and as a bonus we got to see her aunt on her birthday too ! I would've given the service 5 stars but the place was packed and I don't think they knew that many people were gonna be there. Totally lovely though either way, fun time! Oh and you can hear the music on speakers outside too. So if want to listen to the music and not all the chatter bouncing the walls step outside and enjoy the scenic area for a bit.

Here's The cuisine was outstanding, but the service was somewhat slow-paced, likely due to the challenge of accommodating our group of eight. Nevertheless, the staff delivered satisfactory service, and the exceptional food quality more than made up for the slight delay.

From the moment we walked in, the waitress was glaring at me. She was relatively nice to everyone else in our group but as soon as drink orders were taken, she started glaring again and forgot the drinks that I ordered. After asking for the drinks, she apologized and took our food order.
Things got way worse from that point and she proceeded to take everyone's order but mine. After food started coming to the table, there were multiple missing orders and completely wrong orders with not even an apology or an offer to fix anything. Two people in our group sat at the table the entire meal with no order and when they finally came, you guessed it, they were completely wrong. Nobody in the group could believe the lack of service or understood why she was being so rude to me. We will never go to this restaurant again and highly recommend anyone reading this find a different restaurant in Sandy, it is not worth the time or frustration to dine at this establishment.

The food was good, but the service was disappointing. It took over 20 minutes to even get drinks started, and we had to flag down the server. Bar drinks came out before the kids' juice, which was frustrating. The food took a long time to arrive and was cold, like it had been sitting out. Soup didn’t come until after the entrees, and only after we reminded the server.

The manager offered a discount and explained the server was in training, but it didn’t seem to be our server. They also mentioned being busy, though the restaurant wasn’t full—only 4 tables when we arrived and maybe 6-8 when we left. Overall, the food was good, but the slow service overshadowed the experience.

The server was so friendly and welcoming, even though we arrived a little late (we thought they closed an hour later than they actually did). She was right on top of getting our drinks refilled and getting our order in. The food was really good and the chef even came out to say hello and check that everything was right.
